Sherwin knows how Sulvain feels about Raziol, but that doesn't stop him from being fed up.

Sherwin is the jolt of sensible affection that Sulvain needs, presuming that he hasn’t reunited with Vivi yet! (My theory is she’s in the Source somewhere still). This page is giving strong “you nut” energy 🥹

Lee

I don’t like you, Mr Paint Brand. Also, does he know just how long ago that past was? Is he magoi? It does seem that he has a crush on him, though. Seeing how strongly he reacted. Also also,,,,, oooh,,,,,, college moment

Alyssa

Ooooh I'm curious to learn more about how much Sherwin knows! Does he just have surface-level "Yeah, there was a guy" knowledge, or does he know that that guy was a vampire astronomer from three hundred years ago?

Livi

Sulvain is probably punctual for all his classes. Is he taking astronomy!!?!?

Sang Steppenwolf

EX-FREAKING-CUSE ME? SHERWIN, GO EAT A LEMON. Unless you've lost someone like Sulvain did, you better hush! Let Sulvain mourn, he's still heartbroken 💔

Jamie

So, either Sherwin is very old and is fully aware of everything or Sulvain is pretending to be much younger than he actually is. Personally I'm guessing the latter, since I doubt he'd have dropped the "I'll leave lecturing you to your professors," comment if he knew that Sulvain's full knowledge and experience could put that entire university's faculty combined to shame. Rather I'd wager that Sulvain's cover story is that Raz was an ex of his, maybe he died (which I severely doubt), maybe he disappeared, maybe they broke up, in which case trying to get Sulvain out of this funk would be perfectly acceptable bro behavior, dare I say Brohavior.

superloveshine

Ok sherwin on one hand yeaaaaah it’s not healthy to be hung up on past relationships but on the other hand no one asked you 🙄 (jkjk I actually super like sherwin rn!!!)

Fond Phantom

i understand sherwin’s sentiment 100%, but i’d also gaze fondly at my past if it had the sparkling beauty of raziol in it 😟

I can imagine Sherwin is trying to be a good friend....tough love and all. It has been another 90 ish years since Sulvain and Raziol saw one another at the masquerade and 200 years since they were a couple. But considering this was his first (am presumably only) serious relationship since Udaya, how could he ever get over Raziol? I'm curious, as everyone is, how much Sherwin knows. Is he a Magoi as well or just a friend from college? Does he understand the depth of trauma Sulvain has endured up to this point? While Sherwin sees the futility of longing for someone he sees as gone, it's not up to him when Sulvain's grief eases (if ever). As we all know, Sulvain seems to have unraveled himself with Raziol that was new and different than his relationship with Udaya. if he hasn't found another person that touched him in quite that way since, it is understandable that his grief seems unending. Shoot, even if he found another, he would always grieve Raz. The way he left Raziol, against his will, in such a violent manner....believing Raz was severely injured or dead for about 24 hours, only to get him back (as a vampire!!) for such a small window of time.....damn it hurts just remembering it. 😭 No wonder he's been grieving for centuries.

I was thinking about that. Would he take Latin and French as his foreign language requirements? He would almost have to relearn French since it has changed over the centuries. Or he was studying physiology of humans and animals....would be persue a medical degree? Does he use modern ASL to communicate? Has his physiological needs changed since he had to "sleep" for 80 years after being so severely injured with Hargrave? Or is he back to not eating/not sleeping. How does he navigate not aging in the modern world and not go unnoticed??

Elora Kay

Dating someone for a few months and longing for them for +100 years is sapphic culture

Iselin

Oh, Sherwin, are you jealous or just worried about Sulvain😁? What Sulvain didn't have, was closure for his grief because he cannot know with certainty what happened to Raz.

Iselin

Sulvain must be a living encyclopedia about history but he still must to learn in order to keep up with modern times discoveries. Curious about what courses is he attending🤩

Neko-san

I mean, it's understandable why Sherwin would try to get him to move on. If that was my friend, I'd try to help him move on too; it's been so long. But as a reader, I can't agree, of course! Never move on, Sulvain!! >.< You'll be reunited with your Raz!!

Oh my god!! You’re bringing up the right questions! I bet he just moves to different countries every couple of decades. He doesn’t seem to change his name though… but with classes, yeah maybe he wants to be a researcher or professor or something with a PhD. Maybe he’s just trying to level up his necromancy and/or trying to find an apprentice to continue the themion faction. O.O wait ohmygod. Is it sherwin ?? 👁️👄👁️

Missiek43
>>149455125

Yes!!! And how his first-hand experience compares with what we have in our curriculum now. I am sure there are some woeful inaccuraticies. But what can he do about it...not like he can say, "Well, ACTUALLY I was there and that's not what happened at all!" 😂🤓

Livi
>>149451881

This would be vEry cool… !!!! Sulvain, Raziol, AND Sherwin kicking Hargrave’s tiny butt. I hate Hargrave for taking us out of the 1600s so soon 😭😭😭

Nekochan

The only reason I’m late to seeing this page is cuz I was napping -w-; And also, Sherwin, I love you, but you have no idea what Sulvain and Raziol went through together 🥲 Also yes, Raziol is beautiful and sparkly and unable to be forgotten ✨🫶🏻 And Sulvain still has hope! I do get how Sherwin would react this way, especially if he didn’t know the whole situation 😭 No hate for Sherwin! Also I do wonder just how much he knows 🤔

Nekochan

But beautiful page as always!

Nekochan
>>149454614

Perhaps jealous that Sulvain’s heart has a stud like Raziol to hope for 👀

Iselin
>>149455125

imagine Sulvain at a lecture stopping the professor every ten minutes to correct a historical fact😂

🌘Blake!

Sherwin is so beautiful I need him carnally… (jk… not really BUT ANYWAYS) I’m excited to see more of him and the relationship between the two!!!

Lunar

I honestly understand where Sherwin is coming from. It's painful for someone when they're so focused on an ex for such a long time. Or even just someone who they deeply cared for who just isn't in their life anymore. So he has a great point. However, we, the readers, know it's not that simple for anyone but ESPECIALLY Sulvain who has loved and lost not once (Udaya) but TWICE (Raziol) and who's basically immortal. And they're just 2 people we know of. Who knows how many people Sulvain has lost, whether they were lovers or friends or just acquaintances. To say it's complicated is an understatement. And this begs the question: How much does Sherwin know about Sulvain? But MY biggest question is this: How in the world did Sulvain enroll in classes? Does he have a fake ID? What about his transcript?? His personal statement??? I'm so curious lmao 🤣

Taylor
>>149455608

Yeah I think Sherwin is genuinely trying to be supportive but he comes across as a tad blunt

Elsi
>>149458505

That's my question too! Also, definitely his family too. From what we know of they aren't in his life anymore. Whether or not they died is a question to be answered seen as how he's a necromancer. But who knows. Maybe thats just him. In anycase he must have lost many people. Poor bby

Peyton

Sherwin is an Aussie and you cannot convince me otherwise

Nekochan
>>149477763

I read the page again and imagined him with an accent after this comment 👌🏻✨

Lee
>>149455125

He doesn’t cite his sources and “plagiarizes” his own old writing

Missiek43
>>149455125

🤣🤣🤣 Lee you crack me up. Chicago style...no, Sulvain style 😄

Nekochan

Is it just me or just the lighting that’s giving Sherwin a yellowish tint? 🤔

Alys
>>149458505

I am DYING for an eternal boyfriends episode featuring all the shady document forgery and whatnot they have to do every ten years

Iselin

it's worth mentioning, Sulvain finally has a proper bed😁 and they both seem pretty cozy sharing the space

Livi

https://open.spotify.com/playlist/6O2m2PXm8vxR53f5CDgl7i?si=0WbYlMC_T2228wWMJrE7Eg Is this the best place to share? Here's one of the playlists I made for Novae! This one's just a general instrumental kinda deal but I made individual playlists for Raziol and Sulvain and Viverette. I'm hoping it's easy enough to navigate my profile to find their playlists but I can link them too! Pls tell me if the link doesn't work 😶

I just realized the astronomy part of your comment Livi, and that would be so damn sweet and heartwarming if he was taking astronomy 🥺🩷
