"Where to start"? Sir, you're a sweetheart, you'll be okay <3 Props to Mar tho, good job pushing him to make friends!

Hmmmmm mayhaps someone oddly familiar with bright blue eyes and gorgeous tan skin…👀

LucianiKarma88

If the next page has Raziol in it after Sulvain’s last statement, I’m gonna lose it! I’ll be laughing my head off and screaming at the same time because of the joy!

Livi

GOD here we go. And you said slow burn. Oh man here we go

Em

And how come Sherbie isn't at this party, hm?

Nekochan

Slow burn = more gay moments to freak out respectfully about ✨😩

OdacioChoco

I’m wishing so hard on the next few pages!! 🙏 trying to manifest… I wanna see HIM

Eibhlin Brennan

Bro what have you been doing since 1756 that you're "out of practice"???? Did you decide to live under a rock??? EXPLAIN YOURSELF SON!!!!!

Livi
>>151521320

✊😤 heck yeah, I just hope my nerves can take it

Lee

This ancient man is a FRESHMAN.

Missiek43

I'm so curious, what their history is....how did Sulvain decide to go to college? How did he end up in LA in a van (down by the river hehe).

Fond Phantom

i know this is supposed to be a haha hehe moment, but sulvain being hesitant to make friends or go up to people first because of the communication barrier even after so many centuries makes me sad emote.

like the way he has to move next to/in front of mar to talk to her because she inadvertently turned her back to him !!!!!!! Sulvain I Love You Dearly

Livi
>>151521320

all I know is, we will not be the same after this!!!! 🔥🔥🔥

Livi

I have to come back here to laugh about him suggesting juice outta the gate. You did your due diligence, there.

I just keep imagining like a prominent scientist figure being like a UCLA alumnus or professor that would draw both Sulvain and Raziol in. Or maybe Morgana developed ties around the area and kinda keeps them in the loops...

“I actually want to set you up with this one guy I met who I saw sucking the blood out of deer in the park the other day he’s kind of feral and he talks a lot about finding his semi-comatose ex-boyfriend but I think with a little nudge you two could really hit it off”

Live under a rock? Probably yes actually and I don’t blame him you know how many drafts for war he’s probably had to dodge? 😩

Iselin

oh, sweet Sulvain , it's not easy for him to initiate communication with someone, he needs someone very patient. He also has his good looks, so go there and break some hearts😁.

Neko-san

Awww, Sulvain. Ngl it is both cute but also sad to see him so hesitant to socialize. I mean, it'd be one thing if he's just a little shy but he has so much going on that'd make it harder for him to really feel included. 🥺 On a lighter note, I love to see his current friends! Looks like we'll have fun with them, too!

thedistortedeye

Sulvain, it’s fine, no one knows where to start! But it’s fine, sure, you can’t get drunk, but everyone else can! Just pretend you are and go along with their drunken ramblings and you’ll be fine! I’m joking… but it’ll probably work

he befriended Huygens, some college kids cannot be so difficult 😁

Alys

Oh man, I’ve been so jet lagged I’ve missed commenting. I love Mar! I love this revelation that so far she doesn’t seem to have any magical aptitude. There’s something so childishly endearing about her being determined that it’ll happen at some point—I wonder if someone in her family is a Magoi… Her and Sherwin are so great so far. Such good characters. They both make great counterpoints to Sulvain in the way they’re just so YOUNG! Raz was the same way in the 1600s with his self-consciousness. It’s a slick way to reinforce Sulvain’s maturity, even though he has the brain and body of a 22 year old.

Stolby

Introvert at a party mood, tagging along with the one person you know 🥲

LostGallifreyan

Lol, even centuries aren't enough to turn an introvert into an extrovert!

Carmine Clemente was there in the 70s. He was pretty famous for being very interactive with students and made big contributions to neuroscience. He'd have been right up Sulvain's alley. There were also some significant astronomy professors at that time, too, like George Abell and Peter Goldreich. (I had to Google to remember these, there's probably more famous names that I've forgotten. I only knew about Abell because my college astronomy professor was one of his students, lol)

I bet he's shy because of several reasons. If anyone touches him they would be as surprised as Raziol was touching his cold skin. Usually social settings involve food and drinks and either he never participates (which raises suspicion) or I assume he would have to....um.... Get rid of his stomach contents later (I apologize, I am trying to be so respectful of people struggling with an ED, I just don't know how else to say it). Also, does he still sleep like the literal dead, no heartbeat or breath? If he stays overnight somewhere, that would freak someone out to find him "sleeping". All of that would keep me on edge when meeting new people as well. 😔
