Nekochan

AN ASTRONOMER HE LOVED Correction Sulvain—LOVES 🩷🩷🩷

Em

Wow you really hit us with the past tense "loved" ? Ouchie.

Em

Probably only because he likely doesn’t know Raz is still out there 👀✨🩷

A PAGE ON A MONDAY NIGHT??? WE'RE BLESSED! With that said, seeing how somber Sul suddenly gets talking about Raz hurts. I really hope they reunite soon!!! ❤️

We have questions We don’t need sleep We need answers We seek the toad of truth But respectfully, because we don’t want KaiJu to rush themselves 🫶🏻 ✨✨✨ But that’s what I was wondering based on Mar’s statement! 🤔😮

Visiting an astronomer that I loved.... 💔💔😭 HE SAID THAT IN PAST TENSE. like the love is no more...or Raziol is gone, or something. But the word "loved" is sending me straight to the grave 😭😭💀

Missiek43

Soooo he got his GED? That is starting to explain the paper trail he needed to have. Now, we are all hyper focusing on his choice of the past tense of "love"....and how he must have just misspoken because HOW?! How could their love ever be in the past? Oh Sulvain if you only knew.... Now to go doctor my bleeding heart ugh 💀💀💀

Jay Parker

WAIT! WATCH RAZIOL BE ONE OF HIS PROFESSORS! IT WOULD BE SO COOL!

Neko-san

She's adorable! I love her nails painted in different colors and her make up, so cute. 🥰 Also, Sulvain looking so wistful thinking of Raziol aaaahhh 🥺🥺🥺 Wouldn't it be fun if Raziol was still in academia, though? Wouldn't it?? 🥺🙏

Iselin

its in past tense, but he never said this exact words to Raz in the past🫠

ebi

What kind of folks indeed ! 👀 ...Sulvain, 💔

Eibhlin Brennan

Oh this is gonna be fun! I love her energy!

Lee

He said the L word! He still blushes thinking about him, how sweet

Lee

So he’s mentioned that he was in Paris, and even that he frequented the academy, but didn’t happen to mention Raz yet?! Hello?!

Alys

Love!! He said love!! And I think it’s really heartening that Sulvain is seeking out new experiences like this. I only wanna know who his forged documents guy is. Or, who am I kidding, it’s Sherwin.

I think there’s actually a lot in these pages indicating that Sulvain is finally, painstakingly ready to move on—chief among them that evidently in the last two hundred years he hasn’t been able to bring himself to enter an academic body despite how much he clearly loves learning new things, but also the moment with Sherwin, the dream that has him in pain and maybe thinking this has to stop... The irony of us knowing Raz is just around the corner is sooooo agonizingly sweet.

I’m not crying, someone is cutting onions or something -

Iselin

I wonder what is his surname...🤔

alex

"loved" im sobbing crying throwing up

Blusalee

Ahhh, I’ve been traveling and there is so much to catch up on!!! These new characters are so interesting and fun. I can’t wait to learn more about them. I have my suspicions… but will wait to see. Also, I really need to know what Sulvain has been up to all this time. (And more about his past before Raziol) He is what now, like almost 1000 years old or something, and he still doesn’t understand people enough to know how to make friends? 🤔 Also, if he was such a renowned physiologist (as per Huygens) I assume he was self-taught then? If he continued to study on his own over the years, I assume he could probably teach most of what is in that school. I kind of imagine him sitting in on an astronomy or astrophysics class the first day and having a certain professor giving a very similar lecture to the one about the transit of Venus from the beginning of the story… Anyway, I have many more ideas and comments that are similar to many others already posted. Looking forward to learning more.

Hi friend! Great to "see" you again!! I wonder if he kept up on the latest scientific advances as he aged? Or is he genuinely excited to go to school to learn? Or for the experience? Or maybe someone either attends UCLA or works there that he needs to get close with to help him in some way (like Sherwin is in finding Vivi). Maybe the "student" bit is just a façade for something else?? And I had to laugh at your friend comment. A thousand years and he's STILL awkward around people? 😆 TBH I would be the same, if I hadn't given up on people by then. I know he must have met so many good people, but watching them die over and over ...maybe he has spells where he isolates himself to recover before trying again? In which case perhaps he's been out of the loop as far as modern language, slang, and social nuances? I'm just throwing ideas out there .... I am pretty shy and an introvert and if I were to live another 1000 years, I'm not sure my personality would change.... Perhaps I would still be shy hehe

Lunar

I wish there was an occult club when I was in school. 😞 I'm really liking the new characters we're being introduced to but I miss the others, especially Sesam! I hope we see them in the near future! 🦋 I also find it endearing that Sulvain seems to be nervous about making friends. He's so likable. Who WOULDN'T want to be friends with him? I'd love to be his friend! 🙋🏽

Iselin
>>151778490

just my opinion, the science evolves now much faster than in the past and is probably hard for him to keep up with each new discovery 🙂 and Sulvain was never an academician, he cannot do much nowadays without a certification..

Blusalee
>>151778490

Yes, I had similar thoughts as well. And I definitely am awkward as hell too as well as an introvert and on the autism spectrum. So yeah I get it, but still. I think it just kind of leads me to wonder what he has been doing all this time.

Blusalee
>>151778490

I agree bluenights. However, I guess my question just goes back to what he has been doing all this time. He seems the type to want to keep up with learning, science and the newest advancements through the ages, so why didn’t he go to school sooner when he could have or have been more involved in academia? Has he been studying in his own? What has he been doing? What has he been doing for work to make ends meet? Etc.

Missiek43
>>151785274

He's so sweet, genuine, and to some degree wears his heart on his sleeve. (Surface emotions yes but he's buried his trauma and deep feelings like the rest of us haha). I just want to hug him. He would be such a great friend, invested in the lives of his friends and loving and caring for them. (Side thought....if he doesn't carry his sandalwood and Jasmine packet around anymore, does he use essential oils or has he found a cologne that has those fragrances??)

Missiek43
>>151778490

True!! And I wonder how he will be able to disguise his eternal youth in the modern era? Costumes, hair dye? Make-up? Or does he have to keep moving from place to place to avoid suspicion??

illu_rora

it’s the longing sadness in his eyes when he says “an astronomer i loved” IM SOBBING

Javiera Pinochet

I know it's a romance but Sulvain it's been centuries! You need to move on, this isn't healthy

Charlie
