I can’t imagine what they both must be feeling right now to see each other again after 300 years!! Like Sulvain had no idea he was alive and is now seeing him super out of context and looking very different. And Raziol probably didn’t think to see him alive either or at the very least to ever meet again in their lifetime. It’s just wild and I wouldn’t be surprised if they acted a bit put off from each other before getting back to being in love. I’m so excited to see their rekindle their relationship!!

I have to say how much I love the lighting on this page. It captures the moment perfectly, and because Sulvain’s face in in shadow, you can’t claim the glow in his eyes is a trick of the lighting. I might have mentioned this before, but it’s been a pleasure to watch your art evolve over the years. I started reading this comic back when the very beginning of chapter 6 was the current chapter you were posting.

So the first time Sulvain is on the cusp of recognizing Raziol is at the masquerade (🎶paper faces on displayyyy🎶) and we can only assume a spilled drink interrupted their fully realized reunion. Then the second time is at the college party. Sulvain freezes and when he looks back up Raz is gone. So now, the Third Time Around, Sulvain is going to regain consciousness and Raziol will still be there this time, holding him, asking if he’s okay :,,,,,,,)
