OH GOD MY HEART. IT HURTS SO GOOD AGAIN. PLEASE.

Lee

I think Raziol’s teefs come out a little in heightened emotional states, like how when Sulvain gets excited *this* happens and he can’t control his body. Maybe Raziol gets distracted in trying to hide his traits!

Atlanas E. Kildarin

Just so I can picture it better, is Raziol speaking in English or 17th century French? 😭

Elisa-beth

« R OK » ? 🥹❤️

novae
>>164077835

I WILL NOT!! CRY!!! ON THE STREET CAR YOU CAN'T MAKE ME 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Alyssa

Not how I imagined their first hug, but I WILL TAKE IT! Also, I just have to compliment how expressivly y'all draw hands, KaiJu! I'm especially looking at Raziol's hands in panel 2 where he's gripping Sulvain's back, like... you just draw hands so beautifully. <3

LucianiKarma88

I just can’t! I love them so much!

Fond Phantom

sulvain’s head over raziol’s chest…………… is he listening his heartbeats????? 🥹🥹🥹

Taylor

OH MY FFFFFF GOOOOOODDDDDD

Brannen

Nothing Raz. I'm alright. Just feeling a little light headed. So to speak. "Inner Monolog": I'm actually feeling all warm, fuzzy, and giddy now that my wildest dreams are coming true. For decades, even yesterday I cursed the Universe for teasing me by making me think you could still be around and we could be together again. I beat myself up every time for getting my hopes up. But now, you're actually here. I'm in your arms. I just can't believe it. And I'm half believing this isn't real and I'm about to wake up.

Missiek43

Legit finished work, ran to my car to read this and now I can't drive because I'm crying. 😭😭❤️❤️ How? How ......just how does Novae just reach inside of me and have a strangle-hold on my soul? I love these boys so so much and have missed them together! Omg I'm a mess, someone come hold me 😭😭❤️❤️ I need a cuddle puddle stat.

Alys

Jay Parker

Iselin

Perfect emotional page. ...Sulvain's completely golden eyes and Raz still in the dark about his condition 💔

Mariel22

stars... I'm crying

Sam

Bruh…………. I can’t dude it’s just been so long for them 😭 what do you even say ???

Levy

I am also about to faint

Blusalee

Ah!!! Sulvain literally sort of fainted/went weak at the knees… and then he did the sign! 🥰 And his eyes are glowing!

Brooke

It has been about 300 years since they have signed to each other. How much does Raz remember of Sulvain’s unique language? I’m sure he could have learned the various versions of sign throughout the years to try to cling to the language with which they spoke to each other. I’m wondering how rusty he will be. I’m so excited to see them communicate with each other again! It’s so pretty!

Brooke
>>164080355

This would be the time I would scream, “DO NOT WAKE UP!!!”

Juliette Wade

I think we're swooning just like Sulvain! The sign is a perfect choice for immediate intimacy.

Sas (Milo's studio insulation funds)

KaiJu patiently teaching us sign for Raziol years ago, so they can deliver the scene that makes me hug my phone. Holy shit this is so sweet and gentle

Sas (Milo's studio insulation funds)

Revisiting the page from the autor's note and seeing Raziol's body back then has brought me to a realisation, that XVII century twink Raziol would never be able to catch Sulvain like that. Dhdjsjddj

Neko-san

Spelling his name again after all this time! Oh! My heart!! 🥺🥺🥺💗💗💗

Meli
>>164092177

Haha ! I think we all look like that reading this page (over and over again) 💓💞🐸💖💓💗 With "a few" tears for many of us💗💓 😭💖💓

I was wondering this too! My grandma’s parents were from Sicily, and they spoke Italian at home. But after her parents passed away and she went decades without using it, she couldn’t have conversations in Italian anymore. She’d forgotten too much of it after not using it. And that’s just within a human lifespan—nowhere near 300 years. 😅

saltandcookies

It’s really interesting the way they’ve almost switched roles. Raziol seems composed and well-adjusted to his new life, and Sulvain is a wreck and probably has been for a long time. Before they got separated, I’d never have expected Raziol was the more resilient one. Sulvain seemed to have so much more life experience. Now that I see this, though, it makes so much sense. Raziol has always been more open/free with his emotions, which is healthier than keeping them all in. Bottling things up just makes them fester, which l think is part of what’s been going on with Sulvain. All his unresolved grief and trauma has been eating away at him from the inside. 😔💔 Now that he knows Raziol is okay, I hope he can start healing.

Atlanas E. Kildarin
>>164131800

I was thinking about that too. Raziol, however, had a lot of bitterness in “The Rings of Saturn” comic. I hope he has gotten better since then. The scene in the study room makes me think he’s doing a little better. (But I don’t know if Raziol has a group of friends who know what he’s been through.) But I suspect, and hope like you do, that Sulvain is going to be more open with Raziol about what he’s been through, and Raziol has centuries of maturity now to understand his perspective.

Atlanas E. Kildarin

So this was a random thought. I know that Sulvain can be clumsy (*knocking over a bunch of musical records, dropping coins, bumping into people*) but the fact that he isn’t *more* clumsy, that he can dance, fight, run, snatch beer cups out of god children’s hands with ease is amazing. He’s literally controlling himself like a puppet with his own abilities. It’s amazing he doesn’t bump into things more. He has such fine tuned control. And the fact he loses control of himself here not because he’s angry, or afraid, but because he sees Raziol again and knows he’s seeing him is beautiful and a testament to just how much seeing Raziol again affects him. (Aaah I haven’t commented so much on a comic in a long time. 🤣)

Missiek43

Today is my birthday guys!!!!! 🥳🎈 There is no better gift than Sulvain and Raziol getting back together 😍😍

Missiek43
>>164136498

Hi friend!! You're so right!!!! Thank you for sharing such a beautiful observation!!!! 😊

Sas (Milo's studio insulation funds)
>>164136498

The knocking the records was too because of Raziol xD He is calm and cool and collected most of the time, unless is about the people he cares about (Raziol, Udaya or his master)😭😭 but right now mostly Raziol 😭😭😭

Em
>>164137482

Omg happy birthday Missiek!!! You star! 💖

Nick Shaw

I'M SCREAMING!!!!

lol

Im curious, is Sulvain using is personal signing or because it is modern day he uses ASL? Does Raziol know modern ASL?

novae
>>164174219

Sulvain used mostly old French sign language back then which is what modern ASL is based on. :D So many of the signs would be similar or the same. But he did learn modern ASL as well to fit in with current society. And yep, Raziol knows ASL :D

Maurissa
>>164174219

so what you're saying is... HE LEARNED ASL FOR OUR BOY WITHOUT EVER KNOWING IF HE WOULD SEE HIM AGAIN ToT

Taylor
>>164174219

G.Law
