Y’all got me crying in a work bathroom 😭

Brooke

Raziol would have been the second love of his life that he would have lost. He’s seeing him again after thinking he was dead. My heart!!! 💞

Judefruit

I'm so happy to see them reunited, you have no idea

Lee

those tears feel brand new, like he hasn’t cried in centuries and has surprised himself by it. It makes me want to cry out of relief for them

🌘Blake!

oh, thank you so much!! it's inspired by a song (artist: yumi zouma) I've been listening to a lot while reading novae for the first time!

Kitty13247

HOLD YOUR MANS 😭❤️😭❤️😭❤️😭❤️😭

Sas (Milo's studio insulation funds)

Baby 😭 he is so overwhelmed but who am I to judge!!😭 If Raziol didn't know how to start that those are good conversation starter, because babe you are crying gold 😭 whaaaa baby it's okay to cry

Missiek43

Oh Sulvain, let it out!! 😭😭😭😭

Brenna Cook

Omg Sulvain is crying, I’m crying, we are all crying, if Rizziol is probably gonna follow suit cause my god 😭😭😭 my heart (ahem I mean Raziol)

Conner

Anyone else notice the kind of freeze/fear when Raziol is looking at Sulvain in the second panel? 😭

Elsi

Awwwwee baby boo

Sas (Milo's studio insulation funds)

Also what do you mean "unexpected", unless it's sarcasm because I'm surprised he didn't start a few pages ago (honestly on the 2nd one)

Nekochan

These bois are too sweet for this world 😭🩷

Em

I think he was not expecting them poor sweet old man boy

Sang Steppenwolf

WHY MUST YOU HURT ME LIKE THIS?! (Please don’t stop, I'm absolutely ready for the angst) ❤️

Juliette Wade

This is so amazing and I'm continually impressed by your emotional sensitivity and POV work, KaiJu. It's definitely a shock from Raziol's POV, because he never really had an explanation of the hints Sulvain gave him that he was un-aging. However, from Sulvain's? He's spent literal centuries being the only one who lasts. He's already lost one of the loves of his life, as Brooke said. And Luc told him there was no way to survive the bite. Even though we saw Raziol afterward, there is no way for Sulvain to have known that it wouldn't kill him later. I think that's why Sulvain struggled so much when he thought he was seeing Raziol (glimpses someone he knows in his heart is dead/dies a little himself). Tears are absolutely what I'd expect in this situation!

Marceline

His gold tears are always so beautiful but so sad 💔

OdacioChoco

He’s so overwhelmed, I need Raz to comfort Sul in this moment. 😭 pleasseee

homebody_adventurer

Ohhhhhhhhhhhh my baby is crying 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Alys

Oh my god, they're just SO sweet! Hearing his own name is too much!

Jay Parker

My heart can not take this! 😭

saltandcookies

I figured there would be tears, but I’m glad Raziol brought him somewhere out of sight before they started. Crying golden tears outside the library would probably draw unwanted attention. 🥺💖

PantherLion

Sulvain's golden tears!!! TwT 💙 I can't get over how much emotion is in this reunion!!! If it could last forever I'd enjoy it just as much as all the past and future moments they have together TwT They both have teared up and clung to rach other after finding one another and still can't believe it's real!!! I hope that Raziol can Sign now so that he can share even more with Sulvain 🌌🎇💙 they should just stare into each other's eyes for a while and hold each other — no talking, actually, just anything as long as it's together!!! TwT 🫰🏼🙌🏼🌌🎇💙

Livi

It's been so long

Iselin

looking into each other's eyes such a vulnerable moment ❤️, Raz please be gentle.

Eira

MY HEART 😭😭😭😭😭

Kass

🥺🥺🥺🥺im crying too sulvain

Jocasta

sulvain clinging even though he’s been set down my heart i cannot

Ares

PLEASEEEEEE HJST ONE MORE PAGE

Weens

Me too, Sulvain, me too!! 😭

Bethany BH

Oh, my heart. Maybe Sulvain spent this blur of a run thinking "maybe I did pass out and this is one of the weirder dreams I've had but I'm going to enjoy it while I can" and the sound of Raziol's voice has immediately brought him to tears with the realization that he really is still awake. And the brief fear/startle of 'waking' up from the snuggle. Oh sweetheart don't hide your feelings from him. Trust that he's still your Starboy, even if he has matured a bit.

polialeks

I feel a sort of reverence seeing this moment - I want to see it, of course, as a Novae enthusiast, but at the same time, it almost feels like I’m intruding. It’s such an intimate moment between them that I feel like I shouldn’t be looking. I am, though- but to appease myself emotionally, i imagine myself - as a reader who is completely immersed and embedded in the story- glancing, from a distance, from the corner of my eye, in complete silence- as to not disturb the sanctity of the moment- probably blushing and crying too, almost holding my breath, rooting for both of the protagonists, while, once again, another Coldplay song plays in the background: 🎶 That green eyes🎶 You're the one that I wanted to find🎶💜💚💜

BT

It may be my anxiety but I wonder if he’s tearing up that Raz wasn’t returning the hug and was pulling away 😭, can’t wait for more pages (as always ❤️)

fancyface

Those golden tears 🥺

Alyssa

Awwww emotions are understandably running high. 🥺🥺

Roedii

Poor beans 🥺 They've had to go without each other so long, not knowing if they would ever meet again. But there's your star nerd, Sulvain! 😭

Luca

My heart~😭🖤

Neko-san

Sulvain clinging to him! The tears! Awww my heart!! 🥺🥺😭😭😭💘💖💘💖

Seriously, this makes me think of the panel in the 1881 sequence when Sulvain is just standing to one side and his eyes are red...

Lain

Man. This is so good

Lee
>>165624663

I love that Rizziol has become a meme in this community 😭🙌

Nicole Jones

Am I the only one that noticed that Raz pulled away? I hope that’s just my paranoia …

Lee

His tear stains either look like yellow glitter or piss and I am hoping his shirt sparkles LMAO

Sule Bera

Razz keeep hugging himmmmm😭

S Mcnamara

Gosh, that moment of reunion where you can’t quite decide if you want to hold your love at arm’s length just to look at them and see their realness or if you want to just burrow your whole face in their shoulder and cling on for dear life ❤️‍🩹❤️🥺

saltandcookies
>>165674298

It’s probably not a very comfortable position for Raz to stay in, hunched over Sulvain while being awkwardly clung to. Better to hug once they’re both sitting down. 😌

Missiek43
>>165674298

He still has his hand on his back. I can only imagine how overwhelming this must be for the both of them. Maybe he's just overwhelmed and can't bring himself to snuggle into him the way they used to....it's been a long time. 😔

Missiek43
>>165645868

He almost looks a little shameful when he turns his head away to wipe his tears.

Missiek43
>>165642173

Are you a writer? Because you should be. They way you express yourself.....it's beautiful. I love the way you described yourself barely able to peek, trying to look but trying not to intrude.... beautiful

Missiek43
>>165628973

I hope they are both gentle with one another. I have a feeling they will be, but it's not going to be easy.

polialeks
>>165642173

Oh, Missiek- I’m not a writer. I just feel so inspired by this story, and by this community who loves Novae, that I feel safe enough to pour my feelings and most inner thoughts out, without fear of judgment. I think that, in a way, I’ve found my tribe in this space♥️♥️♥️

Missiek43
>>165642173

🫂🫂🫂 your feelings and inner thoughts are beautiful. I hope you feel safe to share more with us. I'm serious, the way you express yourself....I was wide eyed and so touched reading it. 🫂🥰

Iselin
>>165645868

ahhh,🫠,I noticed it too, but then thought it's because he doesn't want for Raz to see his golden tears

Hi-D

It's like a sigh of relief and having a tight chest all at the same time..! 😫🥹

Taylor

Katie

Kaiotee

Keru

Let the bridge weaving commence! ❤️❤️❤️

Justmoi

Oh man, Sulvain is so overcome. The emotions in these pages - just overwhelming.

Mangsney

Aaaawwwww, poor Sulvain is too overwhelmed... It's OK bb, let it out, I'm sure Raz will let his (impressive, learned-the-hard-way) self-control slip a bit and join you soon enough 🥹🥺😭

Debra R.B.

I'm feeling all the feelings.
