AAAAAAA NEEED MOORRRRREEER

Jay Parker

Please tell us he still has Sulvain's cloak!?

Eibhlin Brennan

Oh man, i know the catching up is imporant, esp since its been literally centuries... BUT GET WITH THE KISSING ALREADY YOU NERDS!!!!

Lee

“I wish I could have kept you safe” Sulvain, honey, you did all you could, and 1000x more. Coma for 83 years as a result, more. You can’t self sacrifice in the name of love like this, you’ll only end up hurting the both of you.

lxmxnrxse .

Ahh I miss his long hair (╥﹏╥) Don't get me wrong he looks pretty both ways, I just have a soft spot for when it was long :")

THE ARM HOLD

Juliette Wade

Ah! I love this so much! The first new touch is so perfect. And I just love all the new backstory imagery.

homebody_adventurer

Awwww, the gentle touches, the sweet looks… this catching up needs to end with making out!

saltandcookies

Raziol has been blushing so much. 🥰 Seeing how much Sulvain’s touch still affects him is healing my soul. You guys are SO good at writing romantic tension!

Brooke

Ah, my weekend pages. My favorite part of the week to look forward to. ☕️👓 Also: The reassurance from Sylvain to encourage Raziol to continue. 🥰

Missiek43

The links back to the previous panels are so sweet. I remember reading them and being so excited that Raziol was alive. And how we all guessed he was smelling Sulvain:s herb pouch. I love each update not only for the story and the art, but because I have shared memories with all of you. 🫂🥰 I love Sulvain's gentle touch. And I love that Raziol is opening up and talking to Sulvain. These updates are my favorite part of my week!!

simquall

Please talk about how he smells good, let’s revisit that after 300 years 😭

I really appreciate that 4th panel. The depth of the tragedy is such that it really needs this extra time. Emotional processing is so important.

Bethany BH

So gently regrouping.

"BECAUSE YOU SMELL" 😭😭😭 the gentle supportive touch 😭😭😭 How are they don't keep sobbing from the overwhelmm.

Hedgehoggoulash

If I had a nickel for every time raz found him by smell I’d have 2 nickles 😂

Roedii

Undead boyfriends UNITE! ✨ And Sul, there's nothing you could have possibly done that you didn't already do to fight for your man. Now that Raz is stronger, you'll be able to protect each other and keep each other safe ♥️

Right? The weight of what he’s done still affects him so much. It really comes through on his face here. 😔💔 Oh my god, they NEED to talk about 1881! Now that they know the other is alive, I think some dots will start connecting! (I mean, really, Raziol—hands are one thing, but how many people’s LIPS feel cold??) I bet they’ll really regret how they missed each other, all because they second-guessed it. (And I need to know what happened after the wine was spilled!!!!)

Juliette Wade
>>167920462

I think it's because they have hundreds of years behind them where they had no choice but to keep it under control, and that training hasn't entirely had a chance to relax yet.

Juliette Wade
>>167912940

Absolutely, absolutely this. And KaiJu know we need to know because they were the ones who cliff-hung us in the first place!

Juliette Wade
>>167912133

I'm just realizing that when he wears Sulvain's cloak he looks so much more traditional-vampire-like, and I wonder if that isn't KaiJu playing jokes on our brains...

Neko-san

This is so soft!! They are so affectionate and gentle with each other; I love it!! 🥺🥰

Sas (Milo's studio insulation funds)

From my observations there is two types of people here: The "KISS KISS KISS!! 👀👁️🫦👁️💋 and The "so... Do we think they will kiss this year, like in December or do we move it to summer 2026..?😐👵🏼🧓🏽👴🏻" And I am the latter 🤣 I am scared but excited how they'll relationship will go at the same time. It will be so good in the re-read 🫦

cha0ticneutral

I hope it's revealed that Raz also kept sulvain safe when he was fighting the other necroman in the woods !

Oh my gosh I would LOVE to write romantic stories like this! That’s why this comic is such a big inspiration for me. 😭

Nekochan
>>167921511

Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it happened twice 😄

Rowan Jalso

Has Sulvain turned his necromancy pin into a pendent necklace? That’s so cool/cute!!!

Juliette Wade

It only just occurred to me how important it is that Sulvain smells good. The concept is doing a lot of wonderful narrative work on bunches of levels, but when you're working with a character *who is literally dead but also incredibly romantic hero* it's pretty critical not to have him smell bad! So going to the smells good direction is perfect and I have always loved it.

I agree! I know part of the reason he carried the fragrance pouch is to comfort himself and remind him of Udaya, but I’ve been wondering if part of the reason is that he’s secretly worried he might smell like he’s dead. 🤔 I also wonder if he smells like the field in death’s realm. It wouldn’t be an unpleasant smell, but probably a unique one.

Juliette Wade
>>167999983

Maybe, because of the Lethe water, he smells like wheat fields after rain. I'm tucking that thought in my brain for a while.

Kaiotee

Omgg, you're so right! That's so cutesy of him and perfectly fits the decade they're in
