So here is the next update on "Project: Badger" (unfortunately I still haven't managed to come up with a fitting name for this dude xD)! As you can see in this little animation, I finally managed to finish the rigging of this character. To my astonishment, it went quite smoothly, in spite of all the furs and fluffs this character has. Also, this is the first time ever that Blender managed to assign automatic weights to the bones correctly, so all the fingers and toes bend nicely without me needing to tinker around with weight painting forever.

Another thing you might have noticed is that I changed the colour of the character a bit. Yeah, it came to my attention that the black & white palette that I initially used resembles a skunk more than a badger, so I decided to change the colour of the texture to a more lighter tone. I also added some neat extras, such as the strange glowing mark on the character's sides, and the glowing eyes. Yep, this guy is a peculiar fella who bears some sort of ancient badger magick.

And last but not least, I added the usual facial expressions and some nice sole-wrinkling effect, that will surely come useful in future ticklish scenarios! Well, that's all for now, I hope you like how this guy looks so far! ^^

The magic touch is really interesting. Can't wait to see him in your next animations !
