New Character - Iki Aarnio (Patreon)

Lo and behold, the badger dude is now completely, utterly and totally 100% finished with all the neat extra additions implemented. And good news is, I finally managed to come up with a name and a backstory for him as well!

So here we go, meet Iki Aarnio, the peculiar badger with shamanic powers! To the unsuspecting eyes he might be seen wandering the forests all alone, but that is not entirely true. You see, Iki's body gives home to not only his own soul, but also to some strange neighbours which he calls his "Kindred Spirits".

He devoted his entire life to master the power of manipulating these inner forces, but the truth is, there are some forces that can't be fully tamed. These "Kindred Spirits" live their lives on their own, so to speak. While Iki has the ability to call forth these spirits anytime he wanted, they might sometimes be reluctant to answer his summonings. In a similar manner, they might sometimes come out on their own, and this is something, that Iki is not very happy about, to say the least.

The spirits are the exact opposites of Iki, when it comes to their personalities. While Iki is generally a serious, prudent yet fierce one with a lot of wisdom acquired throughout the decades, his inner spirits are more of a mischievous trickster sorts, and this often leads to conflicts between them.

Iki's best friend is his spear that he crafted entirely by himself, and also infused with the power of the spirits through very complicated shamanic rituals. The ways of a shaman are twisted and full of mysteries, and so is the soul of Iki.
