My desire to work on game stuff remains strong, but business things that came up this week really broke my creative time into discontinuous chunks, so instead I'm thinking a lot about TLS.

First, please enjoy the above comic! For the sake of gameplay, you only see the player walking around, but the canon situation is that the entire harem is going around together, and they're not just doing a caterpillar line. I thought illustrating this would be funny. ^-^

(Though if you want to take the word "reality" even more seriously, in the reality of the setting, shops would feature more items, cities would be larger, and so on. I try to imply the real scope, as representing it directly would be cumbersome.)

That said, one of the main things I accomplished this week was writing all the post-TLS stories. These are a collection of five short stories that are set after the end of the game, some of them centuries or millennia after. They need editing yet, but the initial work is done.

This isn't working on the game itself, and it won't earn me any money, but I hope people will enjoy them? If you've followed the characters (and world) this far, I hope you'll be interested in following them a little further. Plus it felt quite refreshing to tackle something small, concrete, and simpler than a lot of the other tasks on my plate.

I'm not sure how/when I'll release these. Maybe one a week to the $5 tier, since that's the TLS tier and they haven't had as much lately? I guess speak up if you have strong feelings about this, but no one did last week. I haven't decided if I'll also upload these to Literotica or anywhere else, since they're more niche to players who have finished the game.

Anyway, this makes me feel like I at least did something nice this week. Hopefully in the coming weeks all the business stuff that's less creatively rewarding will bear some fruit, but we'll see.

Epilogue tales are always fun!

DankPotatoes

Lol, I guess the writing doesn't quite represent how intimidating it must be for a shopkeep/politician/random bloke, to watch Simon and 35 assorted succubi, warrior ladies, world leaders and literal Goddesses spontaneously walking through their front door at the same time

Nobody

No strong feelings on how they should be released, but I’m really excited at the concept of reading those post-game stories.

Decarabia

Loved the illustration!

Could also bring some attention to the relatively unknown prequel short stories.

AchtungNight

Agreed. I would post them on Archive or our Own. Literotica has guidelines and a screening process that I fear the stories would not get past (succubus children, while adorable, would not pass said screening, nor would a few other game aspects). AO3 also has better search and tag systems and much TLS work already. I’ll gladly jump a tier while stories are distributed here if you want to make money off them first.

I love the art. In addition to the "your shop has been invaded" humor, it's also really nice to see them all hanging out together in a slice of life moment.

sierralee

Yeah, I imply the harem is active together, but I wanted to flesh out one of those moments. ^-^

I have an AO3 account, though it's as neglected as my Literotica account. I find that things I put there essentially just disappear without a trace, but I can upload them there after Patreon if that's where patrons want to find them.

This makes me wonder - when the party is illusioned by Yarra, is it a mix of genders or is it still Simon and a suspect amount of women?

Helm

Would definitely love to read those ! And the post game really feels like the place to find out about them. Players dedicated enough to talk to everyone again in hope of a bit of news or last words would be delighted to find real stories in the world they made... Could that work ?

Trexdude

What amazing art! I love that piece a lot. Nice job finishing up your stories, too!

sierralee

Yarra's opsec varies based on how horny she is at the moment.

sierralee

While this is plausible in theory, I think the length of time some of the stories are set past the end of the postgame would make them not quite work, sorry.

Austin Cook

As someone who went and talked to everyone post game I think it would be a shame for people who do so in a years time to miss out on the stories. I certainly intend to read some however they are published.

Austin Cook

And what / where are these stories?

ADAMN.

Is it possible for the short stories to be released on the lower tiers eventually? I lowered my subscription cause TLS ended and I also moved out so I don’t think I’ll be able to raise it again

sierralee

They will probably be free somewhere, eventually. Await news of that in the weekly posts.

I love pictures likes this that gives more immersion to the games
