February 16 Update (Patreon)

Though I never thought it was a realistic deadline, I've wished I could release TLS 0.49.0 this weekend. The timing of everything would have been very convenient, positioning TLS perfectly on the sides of book releases and other things. Plus, between phases I could do my taxes and other things I've been putting off. -_-

Right now, what I think would be best is to release on February 21st, then take two weeks in Patreon beta. It should be in decent shape then, but I don't think it will be quite finished. Lots of stuff is done, but I feel that it isn't enough. Two weeks would give everyone time not only to play, but to notice things I overlooked and potentially suggest new interactions/events. That would put the public release on March 6, which is workable.

To give this update more content-related material... I haven't yet mentioned that this release will involve a bunch of new maps. You'll be able to teleport to Ghenalon's capital at will, visit Tatseni for the first time, and return to Erosia in a time of peace. So expect new interactions, new stores, new Orcent conversations, and so forth.

One thing this update doesn't have much of is fights. There are only two, though both are new encounters with mechanics I think are a bit fun. One thing it does have in abundance is sex scenes. Eleven by my count, spanning a wide range of characters, types, and focuses. Should be fun overall.

Anyway, I should stop typing and get back to working. If all goes well, I'll be putting out a release next weekend!

wow, be nice to visit everywhere again. Cant wait as with some of my games I have a ton of PRON from not being able to do investments during the last section of chapter 4, stineford tower being one.

Don't expect too many new investments, but you'll be getting more returns and there will be a few impactful ones.

Fights are fun, but I really like to just roam around the world, fish for new stiff and watch the place grow and develop. I think lore and world development stuff is far more challenging to do right than just dungeon crawl and by far more enjoyable, at least for me. Really looking forward to this release :)

Not yet. Renthnor teleportation will be unlocked after a set of major events coming several updates down the road.

I really want to see if Nalili has sufficiently prepared Carina for the ridiculousness of the Orgasmic Empire. I'm thinking not.

Well, Nalili could give Carina pretty much the same tour she gave Simon, but at the same time explaining things and showring her personal growth. It could be an interesting contrast.

Dumb question about some of the 0.48.0 content that's been bugging me. After the first conversation on human-dwarf impregnation, there was a quick sidebar dialogue between Altina and Lynine that seemed unmotivated. I'm using the Saner Altina variant, but I remember while trawling through the HQ event code seeing that Cockwhore Altina specifically asked Simon to knock her up in a conversation near the start of Ch4. I'm wondering if the Altina-Lynine discussion was supposed to be for Cockwhore Altina only.

That conversation has two variants for the two versions of Altina, but it may be that saner-Altina's desires haven't been made explicit before this point; I can't recall. If so, that may be an oversight. There is an HQ conversation where sluttier-Altina asks to be impregnated, but I couldn't find an equivalent for saner-Altina.

Saner Altina doesn't want to be pregnant, but due to her experiences she still has an emotional reaction to Neranda's request.

OK, I can't speak for anyone else, but the conversation seemed like a non-sequitur to me.

Saner-Altina's version of the conversation doesn't explicitly mention a sincere desire to be pregnant, but she does have a thing for Simon treating her like an "elf breeder" as a kink and/or a way of processing what happened to her at Withered Fortress. The conversation didn't seem out of place to me when I encountered it.

'Bug': Just noticed again that Altina's on-demand scenes are mixed up. In 'Seated', Simon fucks Altina from behind, while 'Behind' leads to the scene with Altina seated on Simon.

Talking to Altina in Headquarters B1 and accessing her sex menu gives you the choice between 3 sex scenes, the second being named 'Seated' and the third one 'Behind'. I think the names are mixed up, scene 2 should be named 'Behind' and scene 3 'Seated'. My original post referred to 48.0, I just reproduced it on 49.0 though. Not sure what more info I could give you. Maybe I'm just reading it wrong, it just would make more sense to me if those two scene names were swapped.

Don't think there's an error here. The second scene has them seated and in the third scene Simon stands (not sits) behind her. It's also consistent with Altina's menu in Yhilin Palace and with their internal ordering in the game files.
