New release is out! See the blog for links and more:

The changes to this are largely minor fixes, but there are also some inclusions of new bonuses. Tak'Kan is a little easier if you've invested heavily in it and there's more RP for various characters. Unless some kind of terrible bug is found, this should be the final balance for the war.

That's all for now. Patrons, you know that a lot of stuff is going on, so look forward to a post on Sunday. ^-^

We've got a bug reports question about merging the inventory items held by Simon in the prison with the main party's inventory. I assume that's going to be content for the next update.

Yeah, the open world update will have an introductory section, and I'll run a variety of logic at the beginning of that.

Is there a way to adjust the controls? Unfortunately the UP arrow on my keyboard just stopped working so its kind of impossible for me to play. I know some games use the WASD keys to move is it possible for my to adjust this?

There's no functionality for this in the game or the engine. You would have to use key remapping software of some kind, and I don't know enough about the options to recommend a specific one.

Damn I guess im screwed then cause im certainly not gonna buy a new laptop over 1 messed up key. Not much I can do about it I guess. What about controller compatibility? Is rpgmaker engine compatible with an xbox or playstation controller?

Yes, you can try a controller if you have one. Controller support is not guaranteed, but I suspect the xbox is more likely to work than the Playstation (and Playstation controllers especially have varying degrees of support on Windows). You may have to use some software like Antimicro to emulate keyboard presses with the controller, rather than it being plug'n'play.
