May 1 Update (Patreon)

Alright, let's talk about TLS! I haven't gotten a lot done on it over the past month, but that's not to say that no work has been done. In an ideal world I'd spend increasing amounts of time on it until the next update.

Above you can see one of the things I've been working on: a visual addition to Rodak. The $50 tier backers rarely make the request they're due, but someone did and expressed the feeling that Rodak is too generic. And they're right: it's one of the only major nations represented primarily by RTP tiles.

So I commissioned a pixel artist (well, got frustrated going through several pixel artists) and had some new tiles made. The symbol seen four times above is now the official symbol of Rodak, found all over the maps on Yarra's route, the Lustlord's palace during the war, and Rodak proper (tell me if I've forgotten anything). Hopefully this will make the whole nation more consistent and memorable.

I'm also doing my best to work on the big backlog of TLS complaints. On top of old stuff, there are lots of Trin errors and sex scenes available during Simon's condition. -_- Meanwhile I did put out a new version for OEA, which I hope will be the stable version for a while. In theory I should start a new scene commission, if I'm going to add anything, but I haven't done that yet.

These weeks that are focused on transition and reaction are always odd: they're busy with time-sensitive work, but I'm never fully booked. I didn't push especially hard this time. Ideally that will be good for my stress and mental health; hopefully I won't reach the end of the year and feel like I didn't accomplish enough. This will be an ongoing decision throughout the next week at least.
