There's an abundance of fanart these days! Today I paired two different black and white pieces: a lovely Hilstara sketch as well as an entirely unexpected page of fanart that was sent to me. Twitter is good for something after all! There is so much fanart you should expect more over the coming period.

I have finished a harem quest for the next TLS build and the progress feels great! This is a short one, and players who only want certain things from TLS won't like it. However, I hope that the majority will enjoy the concept. This one is less a challenge than a reward, a sign of how the player's position in the world has changed. It also includes a character note I've been waiting to do for a very long time that I think people will find cute. ^-^

As for OEA, it's essentially on pause for an ambiguous period of time. If I wrap up the EA period too early, that won't look good to Valve. At some point I'll add some more content, potentially even newly commissioned art, but none of that will be happening in the near future.

There are likely to be some personal obstacles in the future, so I am pushing hard to finish as much TLS as possible. Hopefully things will be in a good position for future updates, but I can't promise a timeline.

Leveler All

the page one shows a more grim look for the characers rugged but not unwellcome, and how bizarre things can get, the hilastra one is just good thicc all over and i really like the shading

All I know is that they contacted me via @drawchameleons on Twitter.

sierralee

Yeah, I like to see art with unusual personality like this.

Annikath

Okay thank you! ^^

Can't decide if Vhala is scratching her ear with her fletchings or if she's idly playing darts with her Unarrows.

sierralee

They didn't say, but personally I read it as darts.

Jeffrey Lebowski

Wow those are some interesting depictions! Definitely like them

Really loving the "mystery artists", also the choice of characters drawn. Vhala in particular is such a fun character for the genre

Hi, not specific to any update, I just want to leave this one here: I'm impressed how you're keeping all the strings in your hand. It might not seem that big of a thing from your perspective, especially when things feel like getting out of hand. (At least this is the impression I get from some of your posts.) But with all the things going on – OEA release, book releases, TLS iterations, promotion activities – chica, you're lifting a lot! And that's only the professional part of your life. This might testify your skiils in self management or it's just how you go. Regardless of any mishap or obstacle, you're doing respectable work all over the place. So here's this comment as a token of respect and admiration. Might as well help you keeping your head held high in the face of the next frustration. ;-) PS: Even, if I'm not commenting much, I love reading your posts, including the ones that are not fully sunshine and butterflies. They give interesting insights into the work of a multimedia artist/producer and – being interested in the process myself – transport a good portion of learnings about the work and struggles in game dev.

I appreciate the kind words! I enjoy working on a wide variety of things and I try to be professional about anything I start. ^-^ I like receiving comments from people, but I'm also glad to know that there are many others reading quietly. Hope you keep enjoying my work!

I am glad that things are going well. Lets keep flowing.
