After this week's Switch 2 news I felt a strong pull to enjoy the Nintendo classics. What better game, then, than Hudson's wonderful take on Super Mario Bros. for the PC-88, Super Mario Bros. Special? I want to keep chipping away at the RetroAchievements on this one. I... I want to buy a PC-88 and play it on real hardware. I think about this game. A lot. help

I really don’t understand the fascination with this port but I’m not going to discourage you. I just hope you’re happy.

Every time you’ve played this has been full of crying-laughter moments, cheer-worthy moments, and creeping madness. Nice Eddie Murphy reference thrown in there too. By the way do you know about the PC-88 Mini that’s supposed to come out this spring? If SMB Special isn’t included (probably won’t be), you can apparently load it via MicroSD.
