Bonus! (08/20/25) - PlayStation Price Hike, ROG Ally X Details, and More! (Patreon)

A bit of a newsy Wednesday as Gamescom gets underway in Germany. Do you think Sony decided to raise prices today because they hoped that Gamescom coverage would bury it a bit? Also, Xbox announces details about the upcoming handheld Windows machine that Asus is making, including a few updates about things they... aren't going to have at launch.

Are you at all interested in this handheld PC thing? Does Windows matter to you, or is SteamOS doing the job? I'm kind of interested to see how Windows 11 has to be contorted and twisted to better function on a machine with no mouse or keyboard, but I'm less sold on the idea of the Xbox app as a Do Everything app for games across all storefronts.
