Katamari Time! (Patreon)

My son (he'll be four soon) is way into We Love Katamari. Every morning he asks to play it and he rarely wants to stop. It's neat to have him very interested in something! But also I'm not sure that I feel great about just letting him just play it non-stop. So we've been trying to find ways to set limits and rewards and use it as an opportunity to get him to eat food, which he hasn't been awesome at lately.

Either way, I've been thinking about showing him the original games, so I figured I'd give them a quick look here today just to refamiliarize myself with the first two games. Here they are, running on PCSX2.

We’re also discovering We Love Katamari at the moment and also struggling with a 3 year old boy who wants to do nothing else. He got so obsessed with Super Mario Wonder that he wouldn’t get off the Switch and would absolutely lose it. It got to the point where we have no hidden the Switch and told the kids it’s broken because it was being played too much and we’ve sent it away to be repaired. That was four months ago. Not sure how to bring it back. My kids are making do with Katamari, a little Minecraft and Goat Simulator on PS4 for now.
