Glenn and Jeff reconvene to talk about the 3DO, the early days of  Crystal Dynamics, the time Glenn almost found his way into a role in  Off-World Interceptor, the undeniable allure of Way of the Warrior,  localizing Soccer Kid, Jeff's adventurous food tastes, Kirk Cameron's  finest role, the time Trip Hawkins was pissed off, and the pathetic  nature of post-show press conferences in the wrestling industry.

I'm glad to hear a lot of unemployment woes, not out of spite of course. It is easy to assume the earlier the easier when breaking into an industry (and it generally is). I've had long stretches of unemployment where I wish I got into game development a bit earlier but then eh, it probably would have been harder in other ways without LinkedIn or whatever. Only game I played on the 3DO was D, just cause the emulation for it was the only decent option at the time. It's a pretty minimal game but imperative for exploring Kenji Eno's library. I mean if you want to gatekeep about non games this game doesn't even have Myst puzzles. Still an interesting FMV media artifact though.

My first gaming memory is watching my Dad play Road Rash on 3DO. He couldn't afford to keep it, so that's also my only 3DO memory.
