The Nordic Mythology Podcast

Yup. It looks like it’s just the feed that Acast was given, which Dan said they’d try to go back and add stuff when they can. Unfortunately the earlier episodes are the version with ads, but it sounds like that may be addressed as they update the list.

When will the recent episode with Mathias be available to listen to?

When the shows are done live, are they done through Patreon or Discord? As I can’t seem to find them on here but I can’t find you in Discord either. Does this have to be done by special invite?

It’s a second App you need. Riverside fm.
Then you are directly in the studio and can watch it live.
And when you created a paid account. (7 days free trial included)

Thanks for letting me know 😁👍🏻

Does the discord still exist. I came back to patron thinking it would be in here and can’t find it.

Yes, the discord is still there. I think there’s a link for it here on Patreon.

I was just thinking I’d love a viking smut episode with Ed Gamester lol

Would be grand since he has his own raunchy writing out too

Not sure if this is the right spot for this or not. But I was recently trying to research the difference you can draw between Wiccan practices and what others would call Nordic paganism. I know the religion based episodes aren’t always the best but I think if they got a scholar who specializes in pre-christian religions or in modern paganism it could be a cool deep dive episode

I would love to see that too! Also I am very interested in the overlap / differences between wider germanic culture and how their pre-christian mythology was similar / different to the old norse one. I feel like in popular culture it all just gets mushed together (also with celtic religion / druidery) and I would love to learn more! ✨️

I really enjoyed it, waiting for the seconf series on netflix.

The anime is also stunning! Crunchyroll has both seasons. Are you anime only?

No idea what the difference between Manga and Anime is 😂

Manga is the “comic book” form. It’s kinda like movies that are based on books. First there was a book and then they make it into a movie, which is usually called anime if a manga was the source material :-)

I belive you can post them here, but they’ll probably been seen faster over on the Discord group.

Did anyone see the feedback the Norwegian football team got for their shirts and team photo in all the Viking regalia? Absolute joke, going mad about there and saying it’s chuvanistic and neo-Nazi. Some people are a joke! I’d love so hear your guys takes on it and maybe do it as an episode, because I remember in the past that Mathias had said how things now even when meant harmlessly or a getting a tattoo of a Viking symbol makes people look racists.

I’ve just joined, do the Viking Smut episodes show up on Spotify? (Asking for a friend)

Just looked through the list - found why they weren’t immediately obvious, the last one looks to be December last year.

I’ll let my friend know.
