Years ago…

A bird had been teasing a blonde girl for a while.

It was a fat little thing with a blue chest and an orange beak, and it hopped along the edge of the pond. The bird always stayed just out of reach, and it always waited until the small blonde girl was ready to pounce before fluttering a few feet farther away.

Naruto crouched low in the tall grass, her tail swishing slowly behind her as her fox ears swiveled toward her target.

The bird hopped onto a mossy rock jutting out over the water and puffed up its chest at her.

That was the last straw.

Naruto launched herself forward with a battle cry, and for one glorious second, she was sure of her victory.

Then her bare foot landed on the moss.

Her legs shot out from under her, her arms wheeled uselessly through the air, and the bird took off with a chirp as she plunged face-first into the pond.

“WAAAAA-”

For a few long seconds, there was nothing but ripples on the surface.

Then she burst back to the surface, gasping and sputtering and coughing. Her small hands clawed at the muddy bank until she found a grip, and she dragged herself out onto the grass.

“Stupid... bird...” She wheezed, glaring up at the empty sky. “Stupid... rock...”

Naruto pushed herself up onto all fours and shook her entire body hoping to dry herself fast. Her ears, which had been plastered flat against her skull, sprang up with a wet fwump. Her tail did the same, the soaked fur puffing out in every direction.

Naruto looked over her shoulder and let out a growl.

Because every single time it got wet, it turned into a frizzy mess.

But then her ears snapped straight up at a thunderous noise.

Naruto jerked her head left, then right, then left again, ears twitching frantically in every direction as her tail bristled even more than it already was.

Then she spotted the column of rising smoke.

It was drifting up from the big tree that grew in the very middle of the pond, sitting on a tiny island of tangled roots and dirt. Standing on one of its thick lower branches was a boy.

He looked about her age, with black hair that stuck up in the back and a dark blue shirt with a red and white fan stitched onto it. He was glaring at the water.

Then his hands started moving so fast that Naruto could barely keep up. He brought them to his mouth, sucked in a deep breath until his chest puffed out...

And he breathed fire.

Naruto’s jaw dropped.

Her frizzy, dripping tail started wagging so hard that her whole backside wiggled with it.

“Whoa...”

But despite her amazement, the boy did not seem happy.

He lowered his hands and scowled at the steam rising off the water.

“Still lopsided... Father’s was a perfect circle...”

He wiped the sweat from his forehead with the back of his wrist. But instead of resting, he planted his feet again and started a fresh set of hand signs and brought his fingers to his lips a second time.

“YEAH! DO IT AGAIN!”

His head whipped toward the shore right as the jutsu left him, and the fireball went with it. Instead of crashing into the water, it shot sideways in a wobbly arc, heading straight for the soaking wet girl on the bank.

Naruto screamed and threw herself flat onto the grass.

The fireball sailed right over her head and crashed into the shallows behind her, where it exploded into a huge cloud of hissing steam.

For a long moment, neither of them moved.

Then the boy scrambled down the trunk so fast he scraped both palms on the bark. He hopped across a line of flat stepping stones poking out of the water, nearly slipping twice, and sprinted up the bank to where she was still lying face down with her arms wrapped over her head.

“A-Are you okay?!”

Naruto lifted her head.

And the boy froze in place.

His eyes went from her wet blonde hair to the whisker marks on her cheeks, to the two pointy orange ears poking out of her hair. Then they slid past her shoulder to the big fluffy tail behind her, the tip of which was now smoking a little.

“YOU…YOU ALMOST COOKED ME!” Naruto shrieked, jumping to her feet and jabbing a finger right into his nose. “WHAT’S WRONG WITH YOU?!”

“I- I wasn’t aiming at you!”

“YOU ALMOST HIT ME!”

“I didn’t.”

“ALMOST!”

“Almost doesn’t count,” the boy shot back. “And you… You’re not supposed to yell at people!.”

“You’re not supposed to do stuff here!” She shouts back because Jiraiya told her about the training grounds after all.

“Nobody comes here!”

“I COME HERE!”

Naruto puffed out her cheeks and crossed her arms. However she looked down when she smelled something wrong, soon discovering the smoking tip of her tail. She yelped, and shoved it straight into her mouth, but she glared at him.

The boy stared at her with his mouth slightly open.

“...Sorry.”

Naruto spat out her tail and sniffed loudly. “...Fine. But only ’cause that was super cool!” The angry pout cracked into a grin. “How’d you do that?! Was it a jutsu? It was a jutsu, right? Can you teach me? I’m Naruto! What’s your name? Do you live here? Why were you in that tree?”

The boy blinked at the flood of questions.

“...Sasuke.” he finally answered. “Uchiha Sasuke.”

“Sasuke…” She repeated the name. Then she frowned and leaned in close, squinting suspiciously. “Why do you keep looking at my head?”

“I-I’m not.”

“Yes, you are.”

“I’m not.”

“You totally are! You’re doing it right now!”

He was. One of her ears flicked toward, and his eyes followed it before he could stop himself.

Naruto’s cheeks turned pink. She rubbed her arm and looked down at her muddy feet. “They’re... they’re real, okay? They just showed up one day. The old man says I’m not allowed to show anybody.”

“Oh.”

An awkward silence settled over the pond.

Naruto shuffled her feet before looking back up at him with narrowed eyes.

“Do you wanna touch them? ’Cause you keep staring and it’s weird.”

Sasuke’s face suddenly went bright red.

“N-no!” He spun around so fast he nearly tripped over his own feet. “I have to practice. Go away.”

He marched back toward the stepping stones, and he did not turn around once. Not even when Naruto started laughing so hard she fell back onto the grass.

Sasuke clumsily tried to practice again and failed.

Naruto instead was sitting cross-legged on the bank, squeezing the water out of her tail, and watching him with the biggest, brightest eyes he had ever seen.

---------------------------------

Young Naruto came back the next day.

And the day after that, and the day after that one too.

Naruto was the loudest person in all of Konoha, possibly the entire world. She talked while he concentrated. She cheered when his fireballs came out right and booed when they didn’t, and she had a loud opinion about everything.

“Your fire looks like a potato.”

“It does not.”

“It does! It’s all lumpy at the bottom! Look, there’s the lump!”

“There’s no lump!”

“LUMPY POTATO FIRE!”

He threw a pinecone at her which she caught with her mouth.

About a week later, after she had spent the whole morning copying his hand signs and getting every single one of them wrong, Sasuke finally reached his limit. He stomped over to her and grabbed her hands.

“You’re doing Tiger wrong. Your fingers go like this.” He shoved her fingers into place. “And your feet are wrong too. You stand like a duck.”

“I do NOT stand like a duck!”

“You do. Spread them out. Wider. No, not that wide.”

She got it wrong a lot, but Sasuke made funny angry faces. So Naruto started messing up on purpose just to see it.

When he figured it out refused to speak to her for a while.

She bribed her way back into his good graces with a pocky swiped from her refrigerator.

After that, they started eating together most days. They sat side by side on the bank with their feet dangling in the water.

Sasuke talked about his brother a lot. He proudly declared his Nii-san was the strongest ninja in the whole clan, maybe in the whole village. Nii-san had promised to teach him but kept poking him on the forehead and saying “maybe next time.” And someday, Sasuke would get strong enough that their father would look at him the same way he looked at his Nii-san.

Naruto talked about Jiraiya. She told him about the thousand rules on the scroll. About how the old man went out at night to do “research” and came home with a bloody nose. About how she started calling him Pervy Sage after she caught him peeking into the women’s bath, and how he chased her around the house for exposing him.

“What’s research?” Sasuke asked.

“I dunno. I think it means looking at ladies.”

Sasuke considered that very seriously.

“Your old man is weird.”

“Soooooooo weird,” Naruto agreed with a solemn nod.

-------------------------

It happened on a hot summer afternoon when the birds were chirping, neither of them had the energy to train.

The two of them lay on their backs in the shade along the grass. Naruto had her arms folded behind her head and her tail curled lazily over her stomach, her eyelids growing heavier by the second.

Beside her, Sasuke was propped up on one elbow, staring very hard at her ears. His face kept scrunching up.

Naruto cracked one eye open.

“...You’re doing it again.”

Sasuke turned red and looked away. “I’m not.”

However, she giggled.

“...Can I?” he mumbled, but her sharp ears caught it.

Naruto sat up so fast she nearly head-butted him.

“I KNEW IT!” She pointed at him triumphantly. “I knew you wanted to! I knew it!”

“Forget it.” He started rolling away. “I don’t want to anymore.”

“No, no, no, wait!” The fox girl grabbed his sleeve and yanked him back, still grinning from ear to ear. Then she tilted her head toward him and squeezed her eyes shut. “Go ahead. But be gentle, okay? Pervy Sage tugged on one once to check if it was real, and it really, really hurt.”

There was a long pause before the Uchiha reached out and carefully brushed the tip of her ear.

But then her ears twitched.

Sasuke yanked his hand back.

“It moved!”

Of course it moved dummy, ears do that!”

He scowled at her but reached out again, and this time his fingers ran over the soft fur at the base of her ear, and the jinchuuriki suddenly forgot whatever she wanted to say.

And a soft thump-thump-thump sound started up in the grass.

Both of them looked down to discover that the girl’s tail was smacking against the ground like a drum.

Naruto squeaked, grabbed it with both hands, and pinned it down with a face as red as a tomato.

The young Uchiha blinked and then pointed at the fluffy tail.

“Can I touch that too?”

“NO!”

He touched it anyway.

She shoved him into the pond as a very justified response.

-------------------------------

A few weeks later, Sasuke showed up at the usual place with bandages wrapped around his fingers.

Something that the jinchuuriki noticed right away.

“What happened to your hands?”

“Nothing.”

“That’s a lot for nothing.”

“I said it’s nothing.” He shifted from foot to foot, which was strange because Sasuke never fidgeted like that. “Close your eyes.”

“Why?”

“Just do it.”

“Is it a prank? It’s a prank, isn’t it? If you throw me in the water, I’m gonna bite you.”

“It’s not a prank! Just close them, idiot!”

Naruto huffed but squeezed her eyes shut, nevertheless.

Then something light dropped over her head and settled around her neck.

“Okay. You can look.”

She opened her eyes and looked down.

Hanging from a piece of string around her neck was a small chunk of wood. It was rough and covered in little nicks and scratches.

“...You made a potato?”

“IT’S A LEAF!”

“Oh!” Naruto lifted it up to her face and squinted, tilting her head one way, then the other. “This is like the one on the ninja headbands!”

“Yes.” Sasuke crossed his arms and looked away. “Ummm, I made it with a kunai.”

Naruto looked at the bandages on his fingers. Then back at the little trinket.

“Do you like it?” The boy asked.

She hugged the leaf to her chest with both hands and nodded so hard her ears flopped.

“I-It’s the best thing ever.”

Sasuke let out a breath of relief. Then he sat down beside her and stared out at the big tree in the middle of the pond for a while.

“Naruto...”

“Hm?”

“When we’re grown up…let’s get married.”

Naruto blinked.

“...Married?”

“I asked mom a few things about living in the same house with dad, since you talked about being alone at home.” Sasuke explained. “She said it’s because they’re married. When you get married, you pick your most favorite person in the whole world, and you stay together forever. You live in the same house and everything.” He glanced at her before quickly turning back to the water. “So if we get married, you won’t have to sneak out anymore. You can just come to live at my house. And we can train every day, and eat together every day, and you won’t have to go back to your weird old man.”

Naruto did not know a lot about marriage.

She knew that married people lived in the same house. She knew they held hands sometimes because she had seen couples doing it at the market. And she knew Jiraiya had once called marriage “a trap for men who have given up on life,” though he had also cried over a picture of a pretty lady in his wallet that same night, so she wasn’t sure he knew much about it either.

But she understood forever.

She understood empty houses on the nights Jiraiya went out for whatever he needed to do. Dinners eaten alone. And so many other moments that she spent alone at home, trapped.

And she understood that Sasuke had become her most favorite person in the whole world.

So she would love to be together with him.

“...Promise?” She whispered.

Sasuke turned to look at her. Then he held out his hand with his pinky finger sticking out.

“Promise.”

Naruto hooked her pinky around his and squeezed as hard as she could.

“Pinky swear, pinky swear,” she sang, the way she had heard the village kids do it, “if you lie, you have to swallow a thousand needles!”

“I don’t lie.”

“You better not, or I’ll shove them down your throat myself!”

Sasuke rolled his eyes, but he didn’t let go of her pinky, not even after the song was over.

------------------------------------------

Present time…

Present time…

I stared at the jinchuuriki for a long moment.

Then I pressed both hands over my face and said the only thing that came to mind.

“Naruto... This is fucked up.”

She blinked. “W-what?”

I dropped my hands and looked at her blue eyes, trying to organize the disaster that she just dropped on my shoulders.

“Let me make sure I understand this correctly one more time.” I kept my tone calm because one of us needed to be. “You have been a girl this entire time but acted like a guy for most of your life.”

Naruto opened her mouth.

“I’m not finished.” I held up a hand. “You hid this from everyone, including me, despite the fact that we apparently spent an entire childhood together as friends, and in your words, more than friends.” I stopped again, rubbing my temples. “And somewhere in the middle of all of that, I made you an innocent promise when neither of us really understood what that truly meant.”

“You understood enough to say it.” She retorted.

“I was a child, Naruto.”

“So was I! That doesn’t make it not real!”

I looked at her for a long moment, taking notice that her ears were down and her tails were moving erratically behind her. And especially her eyes showed her resolve in those words.

“You are serious…”

“A pinky promise is serious!”

“Naruto...”

“You said forever!” She stood up abruptly, the towel gripped tightly in both hands. “You said you pick your most favorite person, and you stay together forever, those were your words, Sasuke! Your words!”

“I was seven!”

“That doesn’t matter!”

That doesn’t matter?

I exhaled in exasperation and chose my next words carefully. “I couldn’t even remember you. I couldn’t remember any of it. How exactly was that supposed to work? Were you just going to wait indefinitely while I had no idea any of this existed?”

She didn’t answer immediately, which was enough.

“There is no way…”

“I just...” She crossed her arms, and looked away for a moment. “I thought if I stayed close enough, if I was around long enough, you’d remember eventually and then...”

“And then what?”

“And then things would just...” She gestured vaguely. “Work out.”

I stared at her.

“Naruto, that is not even close to a plan.”

“Oh, so sorry for believing in something!” She shouts. “Sorry for actually giving a damn about a bastard like you! Is that a problem?!”

“The problem isn’t caring.” I kept my voice level. “The problem is that while you were apparently waiting for fate to sort itself out, I was trying to live my fucked up life and you getting upset for it.”

The blonde went very still, looking at me with wide eyes.

I saw the exact moment the words reached her.

“Karin...”

“Yes.”

“And Tayuya.”

“...Yes.”

“So you just...” She gritted her teeth. “What, you just went off and decided to fuck whoever you wanted, and that was fine, that was perfectly fine to you?”

“I’m an adult, Naruto. So yes. That was perfectly fine.”

And the thing with Karin was a spur of the moment.

“And you didn’t think about...” She stopped, seemingly unable to finish the sentence and pointed at me with an accusing finger. “What is it with you and redheads?”

I blinked.

“What?”

“Karin. Red hair. Tayuya.” She gestured at her own blonde head. “Red hair! Do you have a type or something? Is that what this is? My mom also had red hair, would you have fuck-”

“Naruto!” I pressed two fingers to my forehead. “Stop talking.”

“I’m just saying!”

“You are not just saying anything. You are just being unreasonable now.”

“It’s not!”

“It is.”

“So you’re fine with it!” She snapped, pivoting again with whiplash logic. “You’re completely fine with cheating.”

What?

“...Cheating?” I repeated that stupid word.

“Yes! Cheating!”

“Naruto.” I looked her directly in the eyes. “Listen to what you’re saying. We weren’t together, we AREN’T together. We have never been together. Not once at any point before tonight did you ever tell me any of what you’ve told me in the last hour. You kept everything hidden.” I watched her face work through many emotions. “How, under any explanation or logic, can that be considered cheating on you?”

“Because you promised!”

“I promised something I cannot remember to a person whose existence in that context I cannot remember, when I was a stupid child who thought marriage meant living in the same house!” My voice came out harsher than I intended.

“That still meant s-something to me!” Her voice cracked on the last word so she clenched her teeth.

“I know it did,” I said because Naruto like everyone in this world, is fucked up in the head. “And that was a mistake that you should have fixed a long time ago, or hell, ask Jiraiya or the Hokage to help you with it, not just bottle it up and make up your fantasy in your head. Fuck, Naruto you sound exactly like Sakura with her delusions.”

Like, why did nobody tell her that what she was doing was in fact wrong? No wait, maybe they did but Naruto being the stubborn idiot as always didn’t listen and followed her own ideals.

“So it just... meant nothing to you.”

“I’m not saying that.”

“Then what are you saying you bastard?!” She snarls.

“Oh, for fucks sake…”

This is getting nowhere.

So I turned around to leave this place because arguing with Naruto who is way too emotional right now, will do more harm than good. And I could predict we might end up doing something that we will regret later.

So the rational answer was to do this tomorrow

With some sleep and a clearer head, this conversation might actually go somewhere and try to fix the mess from our dumb past selves.

“Where the hell do you think you’re going?!” She snapped behind me.

“To sleep, what else?” I replied without turning back. “We can talk tomorrow when you’re done with your hissy fit.”

“Hissy fit?! I’m not having a hissy fit, you bas-”

“Goodnight, Naruto.”

“Don’t you dare walk away from me right now!”

But I kept walking.

Then every nerve and instinct in my body fired at once.

Every instinct screamed a half-second too late. A hand clamped onto the back of my shirt and wrenched. The world spun; we hit the ground hard enough that the air left my lungs in a single brutal rush. Dirt and pine needles ground into my back as we rolled across the ground. I drove a knee up to force some space and kicked her clear before she could pin me down.

By the time I was on my feet, the Sharingan was already spinning.

Naruto stood some distance away, naked. The towel had been lost somewhere in the scramble. Both tails lashed behind her in wide, violent arcs, fox ears pinned flat against her skull. Her eyes were no longer blue as now they burned red.

“What the hell is wrong with you?!” I hissed, wiping dirt from my body.

“You don’t get to just w-walk away!” She growled. “You don’t get to drop all of that on me and then just leave like it’s nothing!”

“I dropped it on you?” I glared at her. “You were the one talking!”

“Because you kept asking!”

“Because none of it made any sense!”

She came at me with a roar with her hands ready to grab. I sidestepped, caught her wrist and redirected her momentum against her. She spun with the force, already correcting herself and tried to kick me in the head, which I dodged and threw her away.

“Don’t.” I warned her.

“Or what?!”

Predictably, she lunged again. This time I stepped inside her reach, palm flat against her shoulder, and shoved hard enough to put distance between us without throwing her into a tree. She staggered away but her tails whipping for balance, then planted her feet and came right back.

“I don’t want to fight you,” I ground out, deflecting a clumsy, telegraphed punch. “And you are acting stupid.”

“So now I’m stupid?!” She snarled, trying to grapple me, forcing me to twist out of her grip. “First I mean nothing, and now I’m stupid?!”

“Yes, right now, this entire display is fucking stupid!” I ducked under a wild swing and retaliated with a jab to her side. “You are just throwing a fucking tantrum!”

“And you’re just a cold, heartless bastard who only thinks with—”

Her words cut off as I weaved through her wild attacks, and elbowed her right in the stomach making her gasp in pain and clutch her stomach.

I jumped for a spinning kick to her head, but she ducked and tackled me around my waist. We crashed to the ground again in a tangle of limbs. I managed to roll on top of her, pinning her wrists down on either side of her head.

“Stop it.” I warned her. “Or I will make you.”

“No!” She screamed, thrashing beneath me. She bucked her hips, trying to throw me off, and I had to brace my legs to keep my position. “You’re always like this! You always have been like this”

“Like what?” I snapped back. “Calm? Rational?”

“A bastard!” she screamed, tears forming at the corner of her eyes yet still trying to kick me and throw me off her.

“Naruto—”

“Let me go!”

“No.”

“I said let me go!”

“Not until you calm down goddamit!”

Seriously, how did everything devolved to this point?!

She snarled and bared her sharp teeth to bite my wrist and I had to quickly pull it back before she could do it. That gave her an opening and she wrenched her other arm free and punched me in the face.

I could have dodged it or blocked it, but I didn’t.

My head snapped to the side  and I slowly turned back to her.

“Hit me again.”

Her eyes turned back blue.

“I-I...”

Fucking really? Now she is getting scared?

“Do it.” I taunted, leaning closer. “Prove me right. Prove you’re just a stupid girl throwing a tantrum because she can’t have what she wants.”

Her face twisted in fury, and she swung again.

This time I was ready.

I caught her fist in my palm. Her eyes widened in shock as I squeezed hard enough to make her wince.

“You’re right.” I snarled, my face inches from hers. “I am a bastard and will forever be a bastard. But you... you are nothing but a stupid brat pretending to be a grown woman.”

I let go of her other wrist, and she immediately tried to scratch me.

But I was faster. I was always faster than her.

I pinned her again, this time holding her wrists together with one hand. My other hand went to her throat but not trying to choke her just yet.

“Now listen to me, because I’m only going to say this once.” I leaned down to be inches away from her. “You want to hit me? Fine. But you’re going to do it with a clear head, not like a petulant child. You’re going to look me in the eye and tell me exactly why I deserve it. Not because of some promise made by kids who didn’t even know how to wipe his ass, not because of your delusions, but because of what I, the man in front of you right now, has done to you. Can you do that? Can you give me one good fucking reason?”

She seemed to think about it but it was a mistake being so close to her as she snarled and my world exploded in a blinding flash of pain as I fell on my ass, clutching my nose.

When my vision cleared out I was on the ground with the stupid girl on top of me, panting as she raised a fist. Her eyes were fully red again.

“I fucking hate you.” She growled and brought down her fist.

But caught it and twisted it hard, making her scream in pain.

“I hate you too.” I said and threw her to the side. The blonde idiot quickly got up and tackled me again and we wrestled on the ground.

I flipped us over, pinning her down once more.

“I hate you so much.” She snarled, trying to bite my arm again.

“Prove it then.” I challenged and she did by sinking her sharp teeth into my forearm.

I grunted in pain but didn’t pull away. Instead, I forced my thumb into her jaw, making her yelp as I broke her grip, but that didn’t stop my arm from bleeding from the nasty gash.

‘This bitch.’

That seemed to make her pause for a moment and stared at my arm, then at me. But rather than snap her out she licked the blood off her lips and her pupils turned into slits.

With a sudden burst of strength she broke free and lunged at me again and in the struggle she completely tore down my shirt before we broke away from each other, panting heavily.

For a moment, I stupidly believed that she would back down now and we could finally go back and sleep this off. But that wasn’t the case as she dropped onto a menacing all fours stance and bared her fangs at me and her tails bristled up.

We circled each other waiting for the perfect opportunity to strike and end this.

Then she blurs from my view.

So I pivot on my heels and slam my hand against her throat before slamming her against the nearest tree.

She tried to bite me again, but I was out of her reach as I slammed my knee into her stomach, and then a second one for good measure. In response, she lashed out harder, trying to kick me and her tails trying to hit me as well.

She clawed at my hand, but I didn’t budge, tightening my grip around her.

“S-Sasuke...” She choked out.

I merely raised a brow, waiting for her next words, but that was a mistake as she twisted her body and her legs wrapped around the arm that was holding her throat. She then used her body to wrench my arm away from her, making me lose my balance and in my split-second attempt to regain my footing she tackled me to the ground.

Now we were back where we started, but this time I was on my back with her on top.

She straddled my waist, pinning my arms down with her knees.

“You... you... BASTARD!” She snarled, her breath hitching.

I glared up at her. “Get off.”

‘How is she so strong?’

And as expected, the kyuubi chakra is preventing her from falling from my genjutsu.

“No!” She leaned down, her face inches from mine. “You don’t get to tell me what to do anymore!”

Her hot breath ghosted over my face, so I tried to return the favor by head-butting her instead.

Yet we end up smashing our lips against each other.

Her red eyes widened along with mine, and I soon noticed my mouth getting full of a warm coppery taste.

But instead of pulling away, her body tensed and she deepened it. Her tongue forced its way into my mouth.

My brain short-circuited for a second, but then instinct kicked in and I bit down hard on her tongue.

The blonde yelped in pain and I used the opportunity to flip us over one more time and hopefully for the last fucking time.

Now I was on top of her.

I pulled away from the kiss, a thin string of blood connecting our lips.

“What the fuck are you doing?” I snarled, panting.

“What the fuck are you doing?!” She retorted, her breath coming in ragged gasps.

I didn’t answer. Instead, and for some stupid reason, I crashed my lips back against hers, a bruising, angry kiss that was more bite than caress. She responded in kind, her nails digging into my shoulders before, raking down my back. I try to ignore the sting and the warm liquid trickling down.

Her legs wrapped around my waist, trying to flip me again, but I shifted my weight in time, pinning her down and not letting her tails move an inch.

So Naruto bit my lip hard forcing me to pull away.

I stared at her red slit pupils, my blood and her blood mixing together on our lips.

“Bastard!” She snarled.

“Bitch.” I shot back.

‘I want to mess her up.’

But before I could do more to this idiot, the earth suddenly swallowed most of her body making her cry out in surprise as I got violently yanked away.

I tried to react, but my arms and legs already got restrained, making me finally pay attention that I’m trapped by white hair.

“Jiraiya...”

And he didn’t look happy at all.

“You two have much explaining to do.” He turned his attention to me, and his hair squeezed me. “Especially you, Uchiha, because I want to believe that you weren’t about to do what I thought you were about to do to my goddaughter.”

AN: Everyone is fucked in the head.
