I am SCREECHING I need more answers and lore and whaaaaat is happening???

Bailey

Ok, crazy theory brain going at full speed. (If you don’t want spoilers for the video don’t come here!) Not James but still James makes me think he’s from the future or something or a different version? And waking us up makes me think that paired with the odd audio glitches the fact that we hear the river at the end leads me to believe the asset is dead? Or some kind of middle like sunshine was, and this recent trial in the video was assets mind running another test trial or something

Bailey

Don’t know for sure but that’s where my mind jumps, thank you for this wonderful brain food Erik!

Eve Johanna

Erik, WHAT ARE YOU COOKING HERE

Britt

Anthea the Tiefling

WTF is happening right now??? I am stuck on a couple things that aren't quite coalescing into a complete theory, so let's go back through the facts (at least the ones I can think of right now): 1. This project started shortly after Avior and Starlight were released from the Meridian during the Inversion. 2. We know that the Chorus didn't trust the memories of Avior because they had already manipulated his mind, but that Avior passed along the message that Min'Ara and E'Laetum requested a Sovereign be brought to them to help strengthen the Meridian and that they only needed one. 3. The Department knows this information because there is a report that Sweetheart got illicitly from the Department but we don't know much about what is in there. We do know that it somehow impacts the raid on Closeknit (but I'm going to have to go research through some videos to refresh some of my fading memories). Here is a start of a theory: If Project Meridian is attempting to validate the information in that report through the use of the Asset, and they determine that MIn'Ara and E'Laetum do in fact need a Sovereign to support them, they will send the Asset to find a Sovereign. The Asset, in making connection with Min'Ara and E'Laetum, will find out about Hush (it's still my theory that Hush was made by them to get a Sovereign and not by The Drove), and will become a part of the plot to deliver a Sovereign to the Meridian. The Asset's neural network is being manipulated by Min'Ara and E'Leatum in a similar way that they manipulated Avior and Starlight so the time-travelly part of this mimics the stay in hell. I'm not sure yet about what this new James is that the Asset is hearing. That's all I've got so far. Will update as I go back and do more research.

Sarina Boghosian

So are we becoming more human very confused till what happens next ps that intro tho

Cowboy Kody

I was gonna finish watching this, but I came home to the Mike Tyson and Logan Paul fight. I love lore but I have priorities.

W0VRN

WHAT IS HAPPENING RIGHT NOWAA

W0VRN

What if all the happy James or like BA of James is this James and not the James that is grumpy and is in this project. That’s a lot of James.

Nawar

Hey so that was INSANE!!

Nui

THIS IS INSANE!!!!

I see a lot of people saying this was all just a dream and not real, and/or Asset is dead. What if part if that is true? I am slightly amending my theory. "Asset" is real, but not in the way we know them. They are a d(a)emon that was trapped and manipulated in the Meridian after Starlight and Avior were released. Nothing came of that request for help, so something intervened bringing Asset into contact directly with Min'Ara and E'Laetum. They are simply trying again. Part of what we are hearing is the breakdown of the manipulation by Min'Ara and E'Laetum. Asset didnt realize that what was happening wasn't real, and we are hearing reality breaking through. The distortion is similar to the distortion heard right before and right after Starlight talked to them. Min'Ara and E'Laetum want a Sovereign. The Drove is in Death (the running water we hear). I don't think "James" is human, but not sure how he fits in yet. I couldn't pinpoint him to anyone we already know. Well, that's the amendment to the theory!

HeartPalette

Tysm for this! I'd forgot some of these points so I was very confused! 😭
