Gosh I hope Milo's shifting ability isn't permanently damaged although that would fit the theme of aftershock quite well 😓

Man I went into this terrified that somehow they'd know he took the ward down.. and I actually started to relax once they'd read through the report and found nothing.. But then you hit us with the not being able to shift and my heart plummeted. I'm super excited about the potential here for Milo/Sweetheart to impact the Elliot/Sunshine story.

Oooooh. These two are such a power couple, sneaking and snooping and gathering documents >:) I'm glad his sweetheart is checking in on him, it would be so much like him to bury himself in the investigation and hide from his trauma, especially since he was trapped outside the ward and felt so helpless. And losing his ability to shift, even temporarily, must be so scary. I hope we get to see experience his first shift after all this with him, that would be so cathartic <3

Ok so I was doing good with this till the end when he said he couldn't shift for now. I also want to know if and how THAT conversation goes with David. Yea sorry boss I can't shift right now, why cus I fried myself taking the ward down. I do love how Sweetheart is like let me help you do things you're not supposed to but also not hyerfixate on it to re-almost kill yourself.

Whoa. Whoa. Hold the frick up. Are they trying to use the Chorus as a scapegoat? Oooo, I have a theory, but I'm gonna keep it to myself. I'm a bit sad about Milo for his inability to shift for the moment, but he's a BAMF and he'll get through it! He may be smol, but don't underestimate the little ones. They're mighty AF ☺

It's really interesting to get more into the mystery aspect of this while still processing everything that just happened. I'm definitely curious but also worried about what we're going to find out. Milo's response is so calm and collective, I just hope he'll give himself time to feel when he needs to. Also hope Milo's core will be okay after some rest and letting it heal properly.

It's always nice to hear from Milo, even in difficult times like these. I can totally understand why he would feel most proactive and productive, pouring his feelings into research about the event. With help from Sweetheart and that report, those two are definitely the duo suited for that detective job. Mentioning that, the repeated discussion of growing tension between The Department and The Chorus caught my attention. But I have to agree with Milo here; I'm more actively suspicious of CloseKnit at the moment. Because yeah, planting those seeds of mistrust/doubt between The Department and The Chorus would be just the thing to serve and bolster CloseKnit's narrative and goals. Only time will tell, I guess. I can't wait to learn more. The fact that Milo is unable to shift right now is certainly concerning. I'm hoping what the healers told him was correct. And I'm very happy to see the communication and understanding between him and Sweetheart. I'm also glad Milo acknowledged the truth: That working himself into the ground isn't the answer. Because that's not always an easy thing to come to terms with, in many situations ❤️ Anyway, great stuff, as always!

Milo baby I am 10000000% with you on this. He is probably the exact way I’d react to this. Controlling what I can control over what I so cannot. I hope he recovers and I don’t want him to over exert himself tho. I know Sweetheart will keep a good eye on his stubborn butt.

I finally listened to Inversion, and now Aftershock. And let me tell you: Milo piecing things together is so fucking hot. I don’t want him to push himself too hard and work himself to the bone but GD…. His tenacity and determination, all of it? Beautiful. And sexy as hell 😅🥵
