Ngl, Asher/Darlin' is the crack ship of my heart, and this does nothing to feed that less. But no matter what, seeing them spending more time with the pack is gratifying, and any moment with Asher being the best goddamn friend anyone could ask for is a good one. My guys support each other so much and I love that in every iteration. It is also deeply gratifying to see Sam becoming more comfortable with the crew and interacting with them casually, he's an honorary wolf at this point and I love that for him ❤ The prank is me playing myself by remembering what happened to all of them during Cataclysm :')

this is one of my favourite audios. i’m a darlin’ kin and this very much solidified that. the steamy morning with me cowboy made me very happy, ash being very cute on the phone was so sweet. getting into the found family trope (to which i am a FIEND FOR), you can tell how much love these two have for eachother and it’s so sweet because it has always been there, but because of the arguing and the tension they have felt like there’s been no room for it because all it will do is create more tension. darlin’ came home, met sam and settled again, love filled the gaps. darlin’ thinks that means going soft but it’s just the opposite, love makes them stronger. as a person, a unit with sam and as a pack. darlin’ and ash are siblings, they grew up together, argued, loved and lost together that’s family. darlin’ stayed because they didn’t want to loose the one true family they had because i suspect PARENTAL ISSUES. deep down, they know that they’re loved by their brothers (ash, david and milo) but they just needed to hear it and of course, ash is going to be the one to say it. if there’s a best person/wolf at the wedding, i really hope it’s darlin’.

Headcannon that Ash had a little crush on Darlin when they were growing up in the pack (something about them being all mysterious and junk) and while obviously he got with baaaabe and figured out he liked darlin more as a friend after they came back, but because of his baby crush he got closer to darlin than the others did. Obviously they were still distant, but darlin considered him more of a close friend than just another pack member (this is before they ran away and still felt distant from the rest of the pack)
