OMG!! LORE!!! What the fuck is wrong with McKinley? They took Kody in, and they aren't even connected to magic like the other Cornerstone cities?!? So, I think this confirms that PM is happening in roughly our time. S&A have gotten out of the Meridian, have contacted DUMP, and DUMP has reacted by commissioning an android to poke around in it. DUMP fucked it up so bad that ETS had to come save it. That seems to fill in an appropriate length of time between Inversion and our present day time. The timelines are coming together in my brain! As always, even these "transitional" videos are AMAZING!

Squee! Love Project Meridian. So, Anton's an informed unempowered and his Partner is an Earth Elemental? Nice. And we finally learn the how of the project... Why do I get the feeling it's not going to go as expected? Like what if Love gets trapped? Or their programming doesn't work? Or they run into the Sovereigns who view them as threat and smooshes live before they can explain their mission? Or, what if it becomes a Pinocchio thing? Love becomes a flesh and blood person? Gah too many theories in my head! Can't wait for the next part.

OMG 5 minutes in and I was SCREAMING. I KNEW IT!! I knew Anton’s partner was an earth elemental!! It’s lovely that he’s an informed unempowered person too! They must be pretty long term, like James and his partner! I can’t wait to hear them both with their partners again 🥹 The lore is absolutely blowing my mind. And did James mention starlight and Avior?! So this is happening around the inversion time? Will the android listener meet the two sovereigns like starlight did?? I’m so excited I am BUZZING.

IIIIII'mmmmm, realllllyyy not seeing how this is going to go well for the Asset. Anything from this plane--ok on this side of the meridian, somehow ok in a bubble within the meridian, on the other side of the meridian--disintegration, unraveling, basically a Thanos SNAP situation. Dems da rules! Soooo, i don't care how tiny a bunch of demons make the hole, whatever goes thru it--your robot hand, your keys-- you don't get it back. A beach head into Aria is still IN ARIA. So unless James is gonna put a full-body condom on Asset. . . . . they're stepping into the ultimate black hole cooch, for real! I really like James, and I'm hoping his singlemindedness (prob not a word) isn't going to lead him to just sacrifice Asset, but I feel like his physics ain't fizzin'. Do I have it wrong? Y'all help me.

I’m interested in knowing how James views The Asset’s agency of choice in this matter. After he was so supportive of The Asset having (what seemed like) the final say over Marcus’ fate and whether they chose to hold him accountable in specific ways, I wonder what the conversation would like if The Asset didn’t want to engage in Project Meridian. On the one hand, that’s the whole reason they were created and refusal seems financially and necessarily unacceptable. On the other, it was James who reminded them that they are a Person. Just something my noodle has been noodling on.
