i was so right to worry about william asking vincent to come over to talk now, and i can’t help but feel bad for vincent amongst all this, he sounds genuinely hurt that william just thrusts this all upon him, more hurt than just plain annoyed 😞

Damn poor Vincent, getting all this dumped on him would be stressful even without William acting so strangely. I think something serious has to be going on with him, it doesnt make sense that he'd treat Vincent this way, especially knowing that the event will be Lovely's formal debut as well. Mysterious happenings are afoot 🤔

Not to mention that William is generally a doting Maker who makes a point of supporting his progeny. The hurt in Vincent's voice is very real. It stinks to be the responsible progeny while your older sibling is allowed to skate (although, to be fair, Alexis hasn't proven herself to be anything other than a self-serving, self-centered brat, so turning her loose to host would be a terrible idea). My current theory is that William requested hosting the Summit because he wanted to formalize ties with the Shaw Pack (and allow Lovely's debut on home turf) and that something recently came up to derail that. Whether that something has *also* brought Parker Solaire back to town or whether Parker's return *is* the problem is an unknown. William is a smart man, though, and he knows that Vincent is an intelligent deep thinker. Maybe he's counting on his second-blood to recognize this is very out of character and figure out what's going on without explicitly stating it?
