mick

ARE THEY WATCHING MFIN ALIEN!?!?!?

ReplayCamera2 Chloe

The red splatter in time with the movie is such a cool touch

Meg

After those noises yep, it definitely is

Glitter Goblin

the thumbnail looks sick as hell 👌😩

✨Starlight Angel Baaabe🩷

What the hell is this??? The combo of David alternately yawning and jump-scaring us is making it ultimately more intense!!! Don't play with my poor brain that way 😟

Green Blue

Sorry, the SECOND Indiana Jones film is the best? I think he mispronounced “first”

acardooo

THE HUMMING 🥰 love love love soft davey

Blu3jayy

This was DELIGHTFUL - more of Davey humming PLEEEEEAAAAASeeeeee?!!?? And maybe singing???? 👀

Glitter Goblin

also i thought the video was gonna be longer but i guess it cant just be the whole movie with Davey commentary as much as i would love that 😔

ReplayCamera2 Chloe

OK, so this is a case of “no one asked and no one cares”, but: To Davey’s point at the end of the video about how Alien is set in the distant future but they’re using “modern” (for 1979) tech like tube TVs: my argument would be that would keep the tone of the movie grounded and believable. Easy to put yourself in. While it’s tonally the complete opposite: if we look at Back to the Future, Part Two we are transported to 2015 (8 years ago jfc) where there is a ton of wacky, new technology, like flying cars, hoverboards, self-tying shoes, etc. It takes us out of a world we recognize puts us in a world that is completely unfamiliar. Of course, this is done on purpose so we feel what Marty feels: a fish out of water. Though if they were to do this on Alien, it would serve as more of a barrier for the audience to see themselves in that situation, thus putting distance between them and the danger happening on screen.

Zeph

"That feeling of dread that just... Seeps into all of it. You know something's happening, but they don't... Or at least, they don't know just how bad it's gonna get" *flashbacks to Inversion and Imperium and thinks about whatever might happen in this upcoming Summit Arc* Yep... We'd know all about that ʕ ㅇ ᴥ ㅇʔ

Liz

Stunned there were no cat comments about dear old jonesy

Megan

Ohhhh the amount of stares David would get. He's such a security blanket alpha!❤️✌️

Lolo

OMG ALIEN 😩😭 my fave

Sarina Boghosian

Of course Davey is injoying angels terror because of angle getting cuddly cuz of the scary movie 😂

bayleavesandroses

What song is he humming? I feel like I’ve heard it before but I can’t place it

RedWillow

That blood splatter across the screen looked cool AF but also startled the shit out of me! 😆

Roamin’ Rabbit

Milo and Angel should watch a horror movie with Sweetheart and David together 💀 Milo and Angel can 100% commiserate! David was absolutely about Angel being frightened 😂 he was teasing and affectionate, which is honestly my favorite character growth arc 😌

RedWillow

I've never yawned so much during one of your Videos before. Davey's yawning is Contagious!

Eilin

This just made me think Milos next gameplay should be Alien isolation

RedWillow

Guy should play FNAF..

Miles_BiWoods

It’s a song from Sweeney Todd I believe! Called ‘Not While I’m Around’, I could be wrong though!

Holley

Ok but the humming sweeny Todd has me swooning

AceOnYourCase

They way I knew this was Angel’s idea! Love that they just kept hitting Davey. I would have done the exact same thing! 😂

j

so davids guilty pleasure is alien movies & sam loves horror (i’ve decided based solely on their choice of movie in the videos) so now we have to know WHAT DO ALL THE OTHER BOYS LIKE ERIK?? each of them has got to have a genre they simply can’t put down and as insignificant a detail as this might seem, i promise you learning that lore will be life-changing 😭🫶

Aniyah

Is it just me that wants davey to shift trying to protect angel from something or just in general?👀

🍊

davey's been laughing so much lately compared to earlier videos and it makes me so 🥹

wolfvonbiele93

I think this laugh from David is my favorite - it’s almost like he’s not expecting to laugh so it comes out as a snort because it just pushes out of him unbidden. He’s really so smitten with Angel ❤️🥹

Sarina Boghosian

I feel like David and Sweetheart will band together and make angel and Milo play outlast trials with them 😂

Stephanie

i absolutely love when davey does any kind of comforting or protecting, even when it’s lighthearted 🥹🖤

JD

I loved this!!! Alien is one of my fav movies. So this was a double treat for me 💜💜💜

I took a long break from listening to your audios because of work and have just now continued my “catch up” (listening to the whole series instead of just a select few storylines) and I have to say, this might be my favourite one. It’s your voice, super calm, love the background voices and the soft explanations. Very ASMR. Love it!
