I was thinking the same about Chan wanting to take the cat. But then thought that it was just a way to ensure that Key stays close. And Key agreed so she had rain to stay close. I think Sun stayed quiet for a min and let some of that play out because she was happy to see her sister clearly happy with someone and not being hung up on Jay whom she hates. I don't think she wanted to watch them make out but she was happy to see her sister so vulnerable and loving with another woman. I think, maybe. Lol

See I never thought was a player but after my first heart break I had the no kissing, no sleep overs, and no cuddling type of rules. Kissing to me felt more personal (to me) because it allowed my feelings to build faster. I never put my mouth on someone (down below) that I'm not fully dating. I had a community dick and would just have sex to avoid my feelings. Now, I couldn't do that but when I was 18-19 it was easier for me to detach myself emotionally from the person I was fucking without kissing.

The cat thing for me makes sense. Both Chan and Key see him as a link that has been made between them after seeing how receptive Chan became of him. I also understand that feeling of suddenly getting to interact with a cute creature (Simba) and falling for them.
