I get it, but I still don't think the ex has more privileges than the new thang. I get that there is history there BUT they are an ex for a reason! Jay needs to just move on like Chan has clearly asked for. Now if Chan was towing the line or leading Jay on then it would be a different story.

Also, then being together for that long and her having rings with the full intention of proposing to Jay then to have Jay just up and disappear without knowing why would've fucked her up on so many levels. Cheating at least gives you a reason, leaving after just leaving a note that says, "I'm sorry" with no other explanation would have anyone fucked up. She'd be devastated over the loss of her love in general, confused on why, insecure and probably self blaming, she'd lose the ability to trust, and not want to ever open herself up again because the 1st and ONLY person she gave her everything to just dropped her with no reason. I think this would be worse than cheating UNLESS you cheat with someone close to me.

Jay is moving so fast though, you would think with all that 'good' history between her and Chan that she would would at least explain why she left at such at such a critical point in Chan's life. Or I expected an apology from Jay in person, and the 'I'm sorry' on sticky note doesn't count. I would also need to know how long Jay was gone, before she started texting Chan. To me she burned that bridge to thier past. One thing I believe Chan did do was look for Jay after she left that note. If the woman you loved disappeared, the first place you would look for her is at her home and imo she may already knows why Jay left. Another issue for me, is Jay not accepting 'No' from Chan. Phu did put Chan in that scenario of not being able to avoid Jay. How many times does Chan have to say 'please leave until Jay accepts it and if she never does... Overall im going to trust Sun, since I have twin irl, I would not want my sister to get back Jay either.

In all honesty, my mind blanks when I think of who else could’ve played Jay. These three are delivering such a beautiful performance and I’m so glad GMM gave the green flag to mix and match with 2 very well known and established GL cp’s it’s awesome that they allowed us to see different chemistries this year.
