NeonStrip Version 0.38.3a (Patreon)

NeonStrip Version 0.38.3a is now available for Tier 2 (Pick-Up Artist) members and higher!

This month's update has a major focus on bug fixes, gameplay stability, and improving existing systems, along with several new features and content additions.

Custom LLM Model Support

One of the biggest additions in 0.38.3a is Custom LLM Model support. Players can now upload and use their own compatible LLM models directly within the game, giving you more control over the AI powering NPC conversations.

The LLM settings have also been reorganized and improved, including the ability to easily switch back to NeonStrip's default model.

New Save Slot System

Another major addition is the new Save Slot System. You're no longer limited to relying on a single save. You can now create saves across multiple slots, making it possible to maintain multiple characters and playthroughs.

Save slots also display information about each save, including the character name, location, playtime, date, and a screenshot, making your saves much easier to identify and manage.

Dialogue & AI Improvements

Conversations and AI interactions received another major round of improvements. Conversation camera angles, character positioning, Speech Expressions, and NPC audio conflicts have been improved.

A new Interrupt button has also been added, allowing you to recover from situations where AI dialogue generation becomes stuck or takes too long.

Photo Mode & Free Roam

Photo Mode and Free Roam have received significant improvements. Camera controls, collision, starting positions, camera switching, and on-screen notifications have all been improved.

Adult Mode Free Roam has also been separated from Photo Mode so both systems can behave independently.

Adult Mode Improvements

Adult Mode received numerous fixes involving animations, action buttons, camera views, navigation, character bones, Free Roam, and climax functionality.

A new climax position has also been added.

Random Encounter Improvements

Random Encounters have been improved with better encounter placement and hostile NPC behavior.

The Package Delivery encounter received additional fixes, including improved package-carrying animations and an easier way to locate the delivery drop-off point.

Gameplay & Stability Improvements

There have also been improvements to vehicle cameras, player movement, shooting, stamina, death and respawning, clothing, character rendering, and Dressing Room Mode.

Beyond these larger changes, 0.38.3a includes many additional fixes and smaller improvements throughout the game, including fixes for clothing and character appearance, NPC behavior, dialogue scrolling, LLM model selection, camera behavior, duplicate NPCs, and several gameplay issues reported during testing.

New Character & World Improvements

This update also introduces Nia Carter, a new character joining NeonStrip's growing cast.

The world continues to receive attention as well, with improvements around the starting house and continued development of the Police Station interior and exterior.

Version 0.38 has been about strengthening NeonStrip's existing foundation while continuing to expand what the game can do. A lot of the work in this release came directly from player feedback and bug reports, so thank you to everyone who helped test the previous builds.
