NeonStrip v0.38.4a — Public Release (Patreon)

The public release of the 0.38 update is here. This build includes everything introduced throughout 0.38, along with several final fixes made following the 0.38.3a release.

Highlights

Custom LLM Model SupportPlayers can now import and use their own compatible LLM models for NPC conversations. The LLM settings have also been improved, making it easier to manage models and switch back to NeonStrip's default model.

New Save Slot SystemThe old single-save approach has been replaced with multiple save slots, allowing you to maintain different characters and playthroughs. Each slot displays useful information, including character name, location, playtime, date, and a screenshot.

Dialogue & AI ImprovementsConversations received improvements to camera angles, character positioning, Speech Expressions, and NPC audio. A new Interrupt button can also recover conversations when AI generation becomes stuck or takes too long.

Photo Mode & Free Roam ImprovementsPhoto Mode received improvements to camera controls, collision, starting positions, camera switching, and notifications. Adult Mode Free Roam has also been separated from Photo Mode so the two systems can operate independently.

Adult Mode ImprovementsNumerous issues involving animations, cameras, action navigation, character positioning, Free Roam, and climax functionality have been addressed. A new climax position has also been added.

Random Encounters & GameplayRandom Encounters received improvements to placement and hostile NPC behavior. Package Delivery has also been improved with better carrying animations and an easier way to locate the delivery destination.

Vehicle cameras, player movement, shooting, stamina, death and respawning, clothing, character rendering, and Dressing Room Mode have also received additional fixes and improvements.

New Character & World ImprovementsNia Carter joins NeonStrip's growing cast, while additional work has been completed around the starting house and the developing Police Station interior and exterior.

Final 0.38.4a Fixes

Following the previous release, several additional issues were addressed for the public build:

Fixed the Exit button incorrectly appearing during conversations in Intercourse Mode.

Fixed player and NPC positioning during Intercourse Mode conversations.

Fixed a conversation check occurring during Intercourse Mode that could cause additional issues.

Fixed Save/Load window scaling at 1080 × 1920 resolutions.

Fixed clipping on Starting Pants #2 with the male Fitness body type.

Public Release

v0.38.4a is available now for Pick-Up Artist (Tier 2) members and higher on Patreon.

This build is also being released publicly through itch.io, bringing the complete 0.38 update to the public version of NeonStrip.

Thank you to everyone who tested the previous builds and reported issues. Those reports helped get several more fixes into today's public release.
