Something to inspire all who read this. Don’t be surprised if Florida turns blue in this election. After getting on the ground here, and talking to one of the campaign managers at the Orlando, Florida office. We’re not the lost hope a lot of folks think we are. We also have a couple really important senate races here, one being the challenger to Rick Scott, Debbie Mucarsel-Powell, who could use your help.

Joy o Napping

In my electoral map prediction I have Florida blue!!!! If you have a recommended phone bank, could you drop a link?

Ink Ribbon

WTF?!!! Not that I do not believe you Joy but did you see the results coming into Florida so far? It’s ruby ruby red! If you can share what makes you think it may go blue, please make my day! Oh and great show as always!

Joy o Napping

I predicted this before I left for Wisconsin / before early vote. :) I also had Georgia red when it was more likely to be flipped the other way with fla red and Georgia blue, per the polls. I don’t have any real expertise but abortion is on the ballot in Fla too, and it used to be reliably purple not long ago. So in an election about enthusiasm, maybe she wins?

Obama, Tim Walz, and Chrissy Teigen for Abortion access are all separate AZ events I’ve been invited to in the last week. I’ve been to Daybreaker morning dance parties that end with busses pulling up and taking everyone to the polls. I had someone knock on my neighbors’ door who was visiting from CA a la Joy to GOTV. There is a definite fever pitch at the moment.

I wish I would have grabbed more phone bank info from campaign staff in Orlando. I am going again on Saturday to canvass, so I will get more info then. Here is a link for a bunch of phone banks, for Florida, and other events, until the end of the month: https://events.democrats.org/event/705836/ Thank you so much for asking!

And just got an invite to see Kamala on Thursday!

Carole M

Thank you from Houston for getting us one more registered blue voter!!

It’s been really inspiring to hear these diaries. The work that Joy has been doing is really remarkable and she has all my gratitude for trying to keep Trump out the White House. As a non-American living in another country, I don’t get a voice in this election, even though it will impact the rest of the world. I trust that Americans will do the right thing, and categorically reject Trump and all he stands for.

CDMatthew

My favorite items in this latest update were the two victory anecdotes that Joy shared…think of all the “small” such victories that are taking place face-to-face in personal interactions around the country…these are key to leading to a Harris/Walz win! (Trump has Elon Musk-hired grifters and Charlie Kirk-type Turning Point hired hands for their ground game; we have @joyofnapping and many thousands of sincere, caring folks similar to her. WE WILL WIN!!)
