Closing thoughts on this series

In addition to prior volunteer opportunities we've highlighted, here are some important needs that really need recruitment at this late stage:

Poll watchers direly needed in GA (no, it's not too late to get trained!) Sign up for a 90 minute virtual training offered daily through Sunday

Spanish speakers needed for AZ voter protection roles; sign up here

Bilingual (Spanish) phonebank for Pennsylvania

If you want to provide financial support, here are last-minute donation ideas from Mike Lux for Senate and House races (some great picks and surprising candidates in here)

Finally, it's always good to track your ballot! Links for all 50 states here.

The next podcast update will be after the election (probably). Thanks for listening to this series and being a supporter.

Always love these episodes. Joy, I tell all my friends and family about your progress on this journey and we all applaud you. It’s truly inspiring to hear about all your hard work to save democracy. Dave, you talking about your lack of posting or motivation to post videos online hit me. The thoughts of “What can I add or bring to the conversation?” is something I struggle with constantly (especially as TikTok becomes more and more oversaturated and homogenous) but FWIW, I often see your posts as a motivation to post more myself. I never scroll when Dave Chen pops up on my feed because I always know you’ll have something poignant or hilarious to say.

Hi Dave and Joy! I have been enjoying these updates. It’s made canvassing seem less scary to me. Also, my dad is part of a union and they are on the ground in PA canvassing until the election! He feels a positive energy, and like Joy, they are giving it their all until the very end 💯. So happy my patrion fee helped make this possible!

Regarding last minute donations, I found this site a few weeks ago. Very data driven, tells you where your dollars will make the most difference. Has state level stuff as well. https://app.oath.vote/set?p=top-issues

Y'all warm my heart every time you talk about missing each other bc ofc you do(!)- it's been over a month since @joy shipped out! I miss my wife and kid whenever I have to travel for work 4-6 days at a time. Also can't wait to see more videos, Dave 🥰

I just wanted to say, I am very appreciative of these episodes. And in awe of Joy’s dedication. Would absolutely love to hear an episode with Cho! I am a guy that is going to unenthusiastically vote for Harris (because of Gaza), but also have a daughter and know the stakes for her future. Proud of both of you. Thanks for letting us tag along.

My mom is currently traveling to Pennsylvania to cure (blue) ballots through Election Day! Yay for volunteers

Nah they deserved to be called garbage. If you support a candidate who PROMOTES LITERAL WHITE SUPREMACY yeah they’re trash.

As I listen to this the day before the election, I’m full of hope and optimism that America will once again be a beacon of hope and choose hope over hate and categorically reject Trump. I so want to live in a world where what that clown says or does is of no consequence whatsoever.
