Hey Patrons: I thought I'd try something different today. Over at Decoding Everything (my new free newsletter), I wrote a post summarizing my year. I made the above video for Patreon, in which I walk through the post and reflect on some of my experiences. It's kind of a "behind-the-scenes" or a "making of" for my year. This was great, David! Would love to see more of this type of thing. I didn’t know about your Triumph experience — a friend of mine writes for him from time to time and was nominated for an Emmy for the Triumph election special on Hulu a few years ago. If you haven’t already, check out the Triumph video with Weird Al that SF Sketchfest made a couple of years ago — I’m sure you’ll enjoy it. Happy New Year!

I totally feel you on the music thing… I bought an 88-key full-size keyboard with the intention of learning piano and just… haven’t. I’ve thought about paying for lessons, but it’s really time that I’m short on. Anyway. Thank you for these updates, I really enjoy how thoughtful and human they are. Keep it up!
