Thanks as always, Dave, for sharing with your supporters the things that are on your mind; I always appreciate how candid and well reasoned your perspective is, whatever the matter at hand. Continued best wishes to @joyonapping for a steady recovery. Fingers crossed that you get credentials for Sundance…what a special vibe it must have! Although it would be a long trip for you, I recommend checking out the Provincetown International Film Festival (PIFF) in June…smaller and less influential than some other festivals, but man oh man is it FUN! PIFF had its 25th anniversary last year, and tons of filmmakers attend. (Documentaries are especially strong at PIFF, and there are great panel discussions, parties, and numerous films that are still seeking distribution.) Take a look at the link below. Thanks again, and here’s wishing you a good weekend…Matthew. in Boston. https://www.provincetownfilm.org/festival/

Interesting and deep take. Appreciate you have followed it more closely than me. However - to say reporters emphasize facts and that’s ok is that same as having a comic emphasize facts. Both are some degree of mis representation. Sadly or the way it is - we all have a strong tendency to minimize and manipulate to our egos advantage.

I'd argue there's a difference between selectively choosing facts, vs. fabricating events that didn't actually happen.

I feel like I need to say that I really enjoy the diaries. I think they’re my favorite bonus content on your Patreon, for whatever that’s worth. Thanks for sharing!
