Double update!! Thank you for your patience and I hope you all enjoy the chapters T-T!!!!!!

This marks the end of the flashback arc and is something I've been nervous about putting out because I think it encapsulates what I've been going for in Season 2, and I know and feel like I have to address certain things with how readers have responded to the latest chapters but alas I will try to let the work do the talk. Thank you all for reading until now and hopefully we'll see them reunited soon :)

Am I tripping or is this a reupload? I'm pretty sure i read these a couple weeks ago?

Griffin

Loved these flashbacks 😭

Mary Juárez

Does the sock mean something? I cant remember

PorkBelly

Oooh that might be why. I had it but I downgraded to the 3rd tier. Thanks for responding!

carley

master has given dobby a soCk

Jessica Henn

So cute! And now...back to the tragic present episodes that give me anxiety

Tea

Andrew is SO cute i love him so much. my sweet sunshine boy. i want to give him the world 🥹

Lee

For this story. Here’s my guess. He’s starting off on the right foot now (excuse the pun). He’s leaving the sadness and overwhelming pressure and just moving forward. He literally was lost and has been found. Also heart potter reference. Dobby was an house elf and received freedom with a sock in a book. Excellent flashback episode!

Jui

There’s no deeper meaning. It could’ve been a different clothing item- just so happens that socks come in pairs and losing a sock in the washer is a common occurrence!

obscura

i love seeing both of them in flashback, your art style has progressed so much its actually incredible to compare this to the first couple chapters. and the art for those was still amazing, but wow its crazy to see such a shift. i love how angular andrew is and how curvy nathans little hair flick became/how round his eyes are. :3 loved this update ty jui!

Andrew my precious baby😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

BatPaws

New Dork University gets me every time. I would’ve fit in well there. These chapters were so good! I love the little old grandpa

The1Phoenix

Oh, Andrew. My darling baby. I want you loved and happy and comfortable with yourself. Oh Jui, this story is done so well. The fluff, the drama, the banter, the characterization of Andrew and Nathan. Just... top notch and excellent. Your art has improved so much, too. Love this!

Dudlio

i love this series with a passion. I think Andrew deserves so much love and understanding. I wish Nathan could see how much he cares for him, but he has his own problems too. I just really hope Nathan dosn't sleep around, especially with the art guy. I think i wont be able to handle so much stress like that xd. I love this series alot other than that <3

He really does fight a battle within. I felt some sort of resonance with this. The importance of being seen a certain way, before of others know something about you. Then you'll have to face them seeing or knowing something personal about you. Disappointment in ones self is so hard to deal with it's difficult to manage and it's a pressure so hard to shake. I always just want to hold him. And that's right Jui let the work speak and it does to me I'm sure of that 💖

I loved the Cantonese in this chapter, I don't spea it myself but I liked the use of it.x
