Summer Holiday Show and Tell on Discord (Patreon)

Hi everyone, September is around the corner and there's a back to school feeling in the air. The Summer can be busy with usual routines replaced with outings, family time, working even harder than usual or just a slight discombobulation. It's easy to get out of the habit of putting time aside for yourself and your hobbies, With that in mind, I've started a new server on Discord to celebrate getting back into the swing of things. I'd love you to post one painting or creative project of ANY KIND that you did this Summer that you're proud of/made you smile/represented a challenge/or was a complete disaster but you still learned from it!

I think this painting I did at the Taylor Swift concert sums up my summer of painting. I didn't do much that wasn't for work purposes but I was determined to try capturing this amazing evening. I took a tiny travel kit and did the sketch before the show started and finished it off on the train home. It's such a special memory of the concert and I scanned it and turned it into a thank you card for the friend who got me the ticket.

How about you?

It's great to come back together with our painting community with a renewed sense of purpose for the Autumn. I hope you'll join me there.
