Watercolour Challenge 201: Picnic Part 6 (Patreon)

Hey everyone, it's time to get on with the finishing stages of the piece! Finish off the little challenge from last week by filling in the food on the plates and the cups/items on the blanket.

Today we are going to look first at the clothes that the people are wearing. It's all about maintaining the highlights from the top and building up colour from the bottom.

Colours I used: Cadmium orange, Imperial Purple, Cobalt Blue Deep, French Ultramarine Blue, Pyrrol Orange, Burnt Sienna, Cadmium Red, Permanent Rose, Yellow Ochre, Moonglow

Brushes I used: Pointed round 2, 0, 4/0

This session finishes with your people looking a bit peculiar but in the last session next week we will bring everything together. It's always good to have time away from a piece with a challenging stage so you can come back with renewed energy!
