Watercolour Challenge 203 - a brand new challenge! Hay Bales part 1 (Patreon)

Hi everyone, today we're starting a new multi episode landscape of some hay bales in a harvest field. The full tutorial is three episodes and this first episode is for everyone on a paid tier. The remaining episodes will be just available for Sweet Pea and above so if you would like to carry on with the piece you can edit your membership on your membership account page.

So, on to the painting! I have a reference image attached and today we are doing the basic shapes and distant washes.

You will need:

6x8 or a5 piece of cold pressed watercolour paper

HB pencil

soft and hard erasers

paper towel

Brushes: A mop brush, pointed round 8

Colours: Cobalt Blue Deep, Paynes Grey, Sap Green, Green Gold, Burnt Sienna
