Hi everyone, we're doing a one-off cut out card making tutorial today. As this is a one off tutorial this is just for Sweet Peas and above - as normal. This was inspired by a request from a Patron for some cards that are a bit less feminine (I interpreted that as not so flowery). This Coastal Path piece feels like a great option for universal appeal!

For anyone worried about how tired I look, don't worry, these have been pre filmed while I've been enjoying a holiday and will be back, fully refreshed next week!

This is a project that I want to do lots more of in the near future. We can make the designs much more intricate but this is a great introductory version. The card I've made is quite small for the sake of filming so please feel free to disregard my measurements and make it work to fit your needs.

My artist friend is Philippa Thomas Her work has been exhibited in the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition and is a WONDERFULLY talented woman. I've attached a photo of the piece in full.

You will need

A piece of watercolour paper 23 x 13cm (this was divided into sections of approx 7.6cm)

ruler

scissors

HB pencil

Hard and soft erasers

Colours I used Cobalt Blue Deep, Winsor Blue, Cobalt Turquoise, Cadmium Yellow, Prussian Blue, Green Gold, Sap Green, Buff Titanium, Moonglow,

Brushes I used: Pro Arte Connoisseur size 12, Pointed round size 2

Fine line pens

I really hope you enjoy making this, and if you're clever with the Cricut I would particularly love to see that! Don't forget to share your paintings in Discord and on Social Media! Use the hashtag #dwpcchallenge. See you next week!
