Welcome along to our brand new watercolour challenge. As is the new custom, I open up the first episode of multi episode challenges to everyone and if you are in a lower tier than Sweet Pea you can just edit your membership up to Sweet Pea if you would like to see the remaining chapters in the coming weeks.

This is a first for the watercolour challenges, I'm finally going to give you what you've been asking for for years...a painting project with a tutorial on how to digitise your artwork!

This project will be over three weeks. The first one is planning a colour palette and starting the pattern, the second is painting detail and animals into the pattern, the third will be showing you how I scan and photoshop my paintings.

Today you will need:

Watercolour Paper (7x8 inches)

HB pencil

Brushes I used - Size 4,2,0,2/0,4/0

Colours I used after planning my palette: Paynes Grey, Prussian Blue, Cobalt Turquoise, Buff Titanium, Cadmium Orange, Pyrrol Orange, Yellow Ochre, Burnt Sienna

Until next week!

This is so charming! I love Scandinavian illustration. It reminds me of warm and cozy homes.🩷
