A few weeks ago I launched a Scotland retreat for September 2025. I’m so grateful to see that it sold out almost instantly but we had such a surge of interest, Uptrek have offered me the chance to do a second week in Scotland in July! This is your chance to come and paint with me in the Summer!

I’m so excited to invite you to my next watercolour retreat in Scotland, happening July 7th–14th, 2025!  

Come join me once more in the beautiful Scottish countryside for a week of creativity, relaxation, and a touch of adventure. We’ll dive into the art of watercolour in a peaceful, inspiring setting—with a little Scottish dancing and whisky tasting to make it even more memorable. Our home for the week is a cosy countryside estate with charming interiors, scenic views, log fires, and even hot tubs—perfect for unwinding after a day of painting.

This retreat is for everyone, whether you're just starting out or have been painting for years! We’ll begin with the basics of watercolour, then dive into painting plants and flowers, choosing colour palettes, and creating beautiful compositions. Looking forward to see what stunning pieces you’ll create with the July Scottish inspiration!

We’ll have a gorgeous art studio as our base, the perfect spot for a week filled with painting and learning. 

And, even better: Just a short walk away, there’s a charming local town with plenty of painting inspiration, and we’ll also venture out into the stunning Scottish countryside to capture its beauty in simple landscape studies.

Throughout the week, you’ll enjoy one-to-one sessions with me as well as group classes, giving you the chance to grow your skills in a supportive and creative environment. You’ll return home with your own frame-worthy botanical masterpiece—a beautiful snapshot of your time here—plus sketchbook pages full of practice and wonderful memories shared with new friends.

Before we gather, we’ll connect through a private group to share our excitement and get acquainted. 

We’ll enjoy an evening of traditional music and dancing, whisky tasting, and a cosy welcome gathering to set the tone of the retreat and get to know each other even better. By the time the retreat begins, any initial nerves will have melted away so we can focus on becoming one with our art and enjoying the experience!

By the end of the retreat, you’ll leave with pages of practice, newfound skills, and lasting memories shared with a group of like-minded creatives.
