Hello lovely Patrons. It's been so cool to see how much you've been enjoying the mini flower tutorials that have been rolling out on my social media since November. I've had many requests to re post the fuller versions which I'm very happy to do although it's been a completely unexpected outcome of sharing the series! So, I'm working on the first one right now and will be releasing them on Patreon as and when for the Daisy tier and above. I've also made a Collection to house them all as I add them. I've done a running commentary on the flower painting and listed the colours I used below.

Many of you know I am deep in book writing mode right now and every spare minute in January is taken up with that, however I'm fitting a few of these edits in as I've seen how much demand there is!

So, Our first mini tutorial is:

Cafe Au Lait Dahlia

Cold Pressed Paper

Brushes: Pointed round 0, 4/0

Colours: Cadmium Yellow, Buff Titanium, Yellow Ochre, Burnt Sienna, Permanent Rose, Alizarin Crimson, Green Gold, Sap Green, Paynes Grey.

Enjoy!

Hi Beverly, yes. As I said they will be rolled out over the months as I find the time to edit them. Right now I am writing a book and the demand to turn these reels into longer tutorials was an unexpected addition to my workload this month. It take quite a lot of time to re edit them. I said above "I'm working on the first one right now and will be releasing them on Patreon as and when"

I’m going to love this series! Thank you Harriet

I love painting with you Harriet! I would love to meet you personally too!

Cindy

I greatly enjoy watching these longer & slower videos.

Joan

hi Harriet. I thought cold pressed paper was too rough to do small detailed paintings. What make of paper are you using?

Jen broadwater

I just joined patreon just to see these little flower videos in full. So easy to follow in just 10 quick minutes. Love it!

Me too!

Thank you. I loved this flower when I saw it and am so happy you explain how to approach the painting. It makes a difference hearing why you are making certain decisions. Little tips here and there are so helpful.

Anne Ridley

Hi Harriet. Am i right in thinking they are ab 5cm square each and do you know how many will there will be? Are they flowers that bloom at different times throughout the year?

Toni South

I love this one. I'm having to practice it several times but there is so much to learn when painting these tiny flowers. They are all so lovely. Thanks Harriet.

Thank you so much for making these longer form videos. It really does help to hear colors you’re using, brush sizes, tips, and thoughts behind how you approach the painting. It helps for the particular painting, but also for other paintings I might be working on. I learn so much when I watch your tutorials and almost always end up with a painting I like. Thank you again!

Connie

Thank you Harriet!

I love these tiny flowers! I love watching you paint. May I ask how many blocks you put onto your paper for your flowers? I would love to get started with the Dahlia. Thank you so much!💕
