Cherry Blossom Livestream Prep for Sunday 9th (Patreon)

I'm sharing this post with all of Patreon just in case anyone would like to edit their membership up to the Cherry Blossom tier and join us for the livestream this Sunday 9th March at 4pm GMT.

This is earlier than usual, but I'm so excited for our class on Sunday. It was requested in the You Choose Youtube Feature to paint the Sycamore Gap Tree.

It's a place of huge cultural significance and even more so now, since the tree was criminally chopped down last year. It was a moment of national sadness and all the more reason to paint it in its former glory. The good news is the saplings from the tree are showing promise!

If you've seen Robin Hood Prince of Thieves, it turns up early in the film as he returns to Nottingham.

i've attached a range of photos of the tree to give you a sense of its beauty. We will be using the top photo (with the little man on the wall) as our main guide for the lesson but you can choose to paint it any season or sky you like. Download the images so you have them to hand on Sunday.
