This has been a week of real highs and lows but in a surprise to no one, painting has cheered me up and calmed me down every time. Thank you for joining me for our livestream on Sunday and your general engagement on all our channels, it means a lot! P.S. I've got a video on Youtube today at 5:30pm BST going into a bit more detail of why it's been a difficult time for the business recently and what we're doing about it.

This week on Youtube: Tuesday

We are painting a Tufted Titmouse on Tuesday on Youtube, as requested by you on the You Choose Youtube Feature! I'm painting it in a controlled loose style. It's fun and fairly simple, I think you will love it.

Patreon Watercolour Challenge Wednesdays

The final instalment of our street scene

This week on Youtube: Thursday

The next instalment of our Scotland vlog will be live. We should really call it 'Crumble's Scottish Adventure' as he is the breakout star! He behaves himself very well as we head to John o' Groates!

New Baby Artworks photos 1 & 2

I have a lovely commission on my desk this week for a client whose wedding stationery I did a few years ago. She has come back to me for some designs to celebrate the birth of their first child. It was such a pleasure painting these miniature animals and details. All components are scanned in, digitised and then arranged into different formations to make some lovely stationery designs.

Bobbing about in our Livestream class

This was such a nice class and a really good way to calm my nerves yesterday. Thank you all for joining me, it was a great study of slowly building up layers and using the amazing contrast masking fluid can give us to create a lovely landscape scene. We also looked at ways of painting reflections in the water. If you would like to watch the recording and have access to future livestream classes you can join the Cherry Blossom tier.

Bird painting workshop in London on September 11th!

I am teaching two short watercolour workshops in London on September 11th to celebrate the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation 'Wildlife Artist of the Year' award. All the info and tickets here!

These are all so inspiring! I love the cute baby designs. I wish I had time to paint all of these. Thank you for sharing🩷

Harriet, as an American who watches your tutorials, orders from your shop, and is a Patreon member, I must share that life in the country is filled with daily ups and downs with the political polarization and craziness in the US. However, not only do your painting tutorials give me a respite and keep me sane, your approach to your American customers is testament to how much you care about all those who are part of your community! I truly appreciate that you value your followers and keep them top of mind. ❤️ to you, Ant and Crumble, and heartfelt thanks.
