Welcome to March (Patreon)

Hi everyone, welcome to March, February goes so fast but it brings lighter mornings and milder temperatures so I’m happy! We’ve now completed our palette series on Youtube but I’m keen to build on that and continue to inspire you to celebrate the different groupings in your palette.

March News

I’ve started a new still life spring flower series on social media as a development from our mini flower tutorials throughout last year. I know how much you all enjoyed that so this felt like a natural progression. Look out for them on social media and in longer form on Patreon.

We painted some gorgeous pieces in our livestreams this month. You can watch back a Macaw in a primary colours study, lovely badgers and so much fun with making up some mad medieval creatures.

All of the livestream topics as well as a number of Youtube tutorials were topics chosen by YOU! The You Choose Youtube is now called ‘You Pick, We Paint! The content for our livestream classes and watercolour hang outs will be influenced by your suggestions so there are more opportunities to paint the things you want! Join the Daisy tier or above to get involved!

There isn’t a huge amount to report from outside de Winton Paper co HQ as this month has been dominated by recovering from a skiing fall that resulted in a moderate sprain and some big book deadlines. I’m not getting out much!
