Hi everyone, it's been another busy week of painting with a few gaps for some fun!

The most fun at the watercolour hang out

You are seeing a few of your very own creations! I borrowed these off Discord as they are so wonderful and I wanted more people to see the kind of thing we get up to. If I could prescribe painting together as medicine I would! We had a fantastic celebration of all things silly at our Medieval Creatures Watercolour hang out. You can watch the painting screen recording of my piece - which I think is the least interesting on that was painted compared to the above! Join us next time for a lovely painting session on the Wild Rose tier.

Forest Bathing

We live in this gorgeous forest and have access to a new sauna that's popped up. A friend suggested we went to try it and it's just wonderful. These baths are the plunge pools that offer some welcome respite between roasting!

Toms Studio

Those of you who watch the watercolour hang out back will also be able to see me trialing some very special new watercolour supplies from Toms Studio.

All at sea

I wish the forest had been the only view this week, instead, my rather messy desk has been the main thing in sight. The beady eyed among you will see a few book illustrations from the nautical chapter!

Golf!

I had my first round on the golf course with my mum and didn't completely embarrass myself!

This week on Youtube

Spring is here so it's time for some of the You Pick We Paint seasonal suggestions: Snowdrops in a tea cup and a Spring cottage. I painted both of these on folded cards as they would also work well for Mothers Day (15th March in the UK).

Sweet. Spend every moment you can with your mum and never feel guilty. Those are moments you can never get back. I am 62 and my mom passed 20 years ago. Not a day has gone by that I have not missed her and wished I had another day on the front porch. I’m okay because of our faith and believing we will be reunited one day. I’m glad I had many days with her here.
