Hi everyone, you will have seen this quick cut tutorial on social media. As per usual, Patrons get the longer version!

You will need:

Cold Pressed watercolour Paper

HB pencil

Hard and soft erasers

Colours I used: Opera Rose, Permanent Rose, Sap Green, Deep Sap Green, Paynes Grey, Burnt Sienna, Aqua Green

Brushes I used: Pointed round size 6, 2, 0, 2/0

As a child in Oregon we had a giant Camelia bush in our yard, I remember the shiny dark green leaves.

I really struggled with this camellia. I think I overdid it with the glazing of the other petals. I need to try it again. I’ve been fighting bronchitis for a couple of weeks and not feeling great so maybe that has something to do with it.
