Hi everyone, we have been celebrating hard this week as it's been Ant's 40th Birthday and our 9th wedding anniversary.

Fun in the sun

We had a lovely day out in Bath yesterday, having a few hours relaxing at the Thermae Bath Spa and then 'the best roast I've ever had' (Ant) At Beckford Canteen. One to make a note of if you're visiting Bath any time soon.

People on Horses

I set us all the challenge of painting people on horses for the latest watercolour hang out. It's a topic that got requested in You Pick We Paint and was something really useful to try! My top tip: If you're painting a new topic you're a bit intimidated by, try painting it on a small scale first! You can watch the recording back here.

Wedding Season

I don't do that much wedding stationery these days as we've focussed our attention on teaching but it's so nice when an opportunity comes up to paint a lovely wedding venue or Church. This is Llandaff Cathedral.

Summer time!

It is well and truly Summer time! I felt it was a great opportunity to open up A Year of Watercolour and have a fresh look at the wildflower bouquet. This is what we're painting on Tuesday on youtube.

End of Year thank you cards

We have a combo of two much requested things on this Wednesday's Watercolour challenge (sweet pea tier and above). I'm doing an end of year/thank you teacher card using the origami method I mentioned a few weeks ago.!
