From My Camera Roll (Patreon)

Hi everyone, I hope you've had a great last week of August. We have been very busy working on our exciting Halloween painting project (to be revealed on Thursday) and I've loved getting back into the routine of things. As long as it doesnt get too gloomy too quickly, I'm happy to see September.

Watercolour Hang out using a lovely photo of yours

It's getting harder to source photos online that aren't AI generated. I love a real photo and was so glad to look into our Discord photo sharing resource to find some lovely holiday photos from one of our Patron's daughters. Thank you Lisa for sharing those, we had a great time. You can watch the hang out back here.

Late summer blooms

On Youtube on Tuesday we have this lovely tutorial. I hope you enjoy painting it as much as I did!

A cosy little bookshop

It's not even September and I'm getting started on your You Pick, We Paint requests (to be announced in the September bulletin tomorrow). I had such a lovely time painting this cosy little (real) french bookshop. It's a 3 part challenge which brings us to our 300th Watercolour Challenge! Wow! I really hope you enjoy it - join the sweet pea tier or above to have a go.

Halloween, revealed!

On Thursday you will be hearing all about my brand new seasonal painting challenge for Halloween! I LOVED doing it and I know you will too... not long now!

Coyote Vs Acme

Ant and I enjoyed an hour and a half of movie perfection on Sunday watching Coyote vs Acme at the cinema. I don't usually mention things like this but it's a film that had to fight to be released in cinemas. It's a live action/animation combination with Loony Tunes character Wile E. Coyote taking on Acme for their faulty goods he's used to unsuccessfully catch RoadRunner over the years. There is not a moment wasted in the storytelling and we were laughing along throughout. Cant recommend highly enough.
