Hi everyone, I hope you're well. I had to spend a lot of time resting and recuperating this last week so there aren't too many photos beyond what's been happening on my desk. I'm keeping an eye on burn out, but I'm being sensible so don't worry. We spent a lovely weekend with friends which was so lovely and it's so exciting to see the Halloween Painting Challenge begin! I'm really excited to talk to you about viewfinders and how brilliant they are for breaking down larger landscapes into manageable bites. But also how amazing they can be for creating a story in your piece. Breaking up a scene into panels can result in a wonderful way to communicate a scene through your painting. I had such a good time painting like this in Greece so this week's watercolour challenge is a combined sketchbook tour from Greece as well as a how to guide to use and make a viewfinder.
